I finally got into the app about 1:05 and order confirmed no more than 30 seconds after that.
Delivery only 28/10Not sure what else I could have done to hit the 23/10. It is not the longest wait though.
I was about to say thanks for the tip, but going all the way back to activation mode doesn’t sound so good.If you go in store they can do it there and then, number transferred over as well.
Be warned though, it put my phone into Activation Lock.
Me too ☺️FINALLY preparing to ship 🥳🤩
I’m on IUP and got a slot for next Fri. I got 11 on release date...I think, is there a way to find out when and how many payments left, and also how much refund you would get on AC+ ?
Just I’m thinking, Apple are offering £420 trade in, so maybe cheaper to do that rather than normal IUP.
I’d still go on IUP, so can you trade in and use trade in credit for IUP?
Has anyone done this in the past? Not sure how much it’s worth it, can’t Ondine much as Apple will have it worked out, but wouldn't mind knowing figures.
Also if I turn up for my iPhone for the normal IUP, can this be changed? As in no trade in and just start again etc?
Thanks
Same here. I have a 2nd November date now but hopeful they’ll move to an earlier date.Don’t worry. A lot of us were there same! (Me included!!) My delivery date is now showing the 9th!
That doesn’t sound like a bad price really. Is that with Music Magpie? If so, does it include the extra £20?Is £350 worth it for an iphone x 256 or should i keep as second phone?
That’s a great upgrade which you’ll really enjoy. Also I’m moving from an iPhone 7 to a standard 12. Hope I made the right choice! Any tips to make the most of a phone without a home button!
I’ve got mine already from a tariff change a month ago but I have used it yet. Spoke to chat online the other day and I was told I need to tell them so they can upgrade the settings etc for meJust about to do the same.
Will you need to transfer your number to the new card too? O2 used to have a system called Sim Swap which was pretty straightforward.I’ve got mine already from a tariff change a month ago but I have used it yet. Any ideas on the best way to 'Test' EE?
I'm currently on O2 and thinking of moving to EE. However I want to test what the network reception is actually like before I move across. Only reason I want to test is that all the networks, when you look at their online coverage checkers, including O2, say that there is a 'Good 4G' signal where I work. In practice, it's actually pretty appalling (barely 1 bar for calls inside, have to wave my phone next to the window to get a signal and even then I'm lucky to get an Edge connection'). 99% of the working day I'm on WiFi calling.
Therefore I want to test EE before I sign up to a 24 month contract. I know I probably won't get 5G at work (according to the coverage checker I'm about 400m from the edge of a patchy connection) and I don't have any way of testing that because I'm still on my XS Max until the 12 Pro Max comes out, but if I could get a decent 4G signal at work that'd be a bonus over O2.
Can I get one of those PAYG sims from Tesco or such like and just put that in the XS Max? Currently the XS Max is running O2 via eSim and is fully unlocked.
Thoughts please?
Thanks. I don't have a spare phone anywhere but the XS Max is unlocked. Do those PAYG sims from Tesco come with an iPhone sized SIM card?Your best bet is a PAYG sim and assuming your phone isn't locked to O2 you should be able to shove it in the XS Max and then you will be able to test it out. Or a spare phone if you have one lying around.
I ordered the new 20W charge plug for pick up. Unfortunately I forgot to take any photo ID. So they refused to sell it to me. They suggested I purchase one in stock and just cancel the online pick up order which did not occur to me. I did just that to save me from having to come back. As I was there I decided to ask if they had the MagSafe wireless charger in stock. I had preordered it online yesterday and had it in my cart for a 21st October delivery date but because their site was being hammered by the time my order went through I had a 27th del date. So I bought both items in store and cancelled both the online orders. So I ended up getting the MagSafe 10 days early. And I saved my self a return trip to get the 20W charge plug.
Yes, just get a PAYG SIM and try the network outAny ideas on the best way to 'Test' EE?

I used to sell my 1 year old iPhones on eBay and did quite well. It’s a jungle out there though and it’s full of scammers. If you’re confident that you can handle them, don’t delay.Music magpie was £350 including voucher but then since the launch of iphone 12 it now is £290+20 = £310
It was on the site sellmymobile.com, but now i just checked and its £316, dropped in 1 day by about £40! Ebay a better deal?
