For sure.I dont think they can just send you a standard iPhone 12 128GB as that is not what was ordered.
I am pretty sure they would have to email you to let you know.

I'd have had my phone a good 1.45 by thenSo - who’s joining me in the queue at 9:45am on Friday morning at Bromley Apple Store?!![]()
I personally think you guys will get it, and will bag yourselves a complete bargain. Amazon is big enough to honour their mistakes.
I’m seriously hoping that they come through and all those who managed to grab it get what they ordered for a bargain price.I dont think they can just send you a standard iPhone 12 128GB as that is not what was ordered.

Hey guys, just like you all i pre-ordered literally at 13:01 pm for both the iPhone 12 64GB Blue and the iPhone 12 Pro 128GB Pacific Blue, quite excited like every year and currently seeing preparing to ship on both and seeing both due for Friday 23rd (launch day). I'm seeing reports that americans are able to track theirs on UPS but i presume ours would be UK Mail/DPD? Anyone had any luck?
Do you know, can you change the smart benefit at any time or are you stuck with whichever one you choose at the beginning?
they'll never lift embargo videos before pre-orders.. look at all the hype just to get one! if reviews came in a bit 'meh' stick with your 11 then you can imagine people being put offi find it ridiculous that they wait that long every year for this, like the phones been announced, just let big companies like The Verge, Bloomberg, CNET etc do the reviews, makes sense to so people are able to make a decision quicker in case they were waiting for reviews to come up and then buy and have to wait longer for delivery

I should think so. And yeah AFAIK iUp is subject to the 14 day return policy like anything else. The process would actually be you returning the phone you don't like, cancelling the iUP, and then doing a new one with the second phone. The only risk is that they might not have it in stock, I'd have thought....Hi everyone. Need some advice, I have ordered an iPhone 12 for collection on Friday at the apple store and now I'm thinking of getting into the iup. Will I be able to do it in store on the day. Also, can i change the phone later on if im not happy with the size of 12 if i sign up to iup?
yes, yes and yes. you'll have Apple's standard 14 days to change your mind. for the XS, I went IUP with a XS Max, then down to a standard XS when I realised the max was too big for me, and then that had a chip in the edge so had a 3rd one. when you're in IUP you go through the whole sign up process each time but it was all quick and painlessHi everyone. yep, I had the choice of days and times.. can't remember how many days ahead as I was trying to zip through to secure the handset but defo could do the Saturday.Hi All, just looking for info from those who have already ordered. Hoping to preorder the max pro 256gb on the 6th Nov. Would prefer a store pick up.
When pre ordering and then collecting from store, can i, if offered the 13th nov pick up change to the 14th sat? I’ll be off on the sat and therefore won’t need to rush to a store after work.
thanks in advance.
104 hours doesn’t sound too badwow you guys are chatty! its usually the lul between getting pre-orders in and people buys cases and screen protectors!
only 104 hours to go!
While I am expecting the orders to be cancelled and won’t be disappointed if they are, I shall certainly be arguing with their Customer Service team if and when it happens. I think a £10 or £20 gift voucher is the most likely outcome. 😉
So does Apple input pricing and products? So could this have been Apples mistake?
Wasn’t the Amazon issue selling the 128gb Pro model for £849?
For some reason I’m rather expecting those who ordered to get a standard 128gb 12 model delivered instead as that’s the rrp for that model.
I have seen that happen with other items from them before.

Yeah, idk what’s the point of an embargo on these videos. I know the reviews aren’t always 100% positive, there’s always some downsides (whether it’s battery life, or camera quality, or whatever) but even if you don’t tell people about it before they pre-order the phone, they will discover it anyway once the phone is delivered and return the phone if they don’t find those downsides acceptable. The embargo isn’t going to stop anything!
Right, but people will discover the “flaws” or “downsides” eventually once the reviews are out or once they’ve got the phone in their hands and will just return the phone if they are unsatisfied within the 14-day period. So basically all you’ve done is delayed the inevitable.
I don’t think Apple are worried about people finding flaws or receiving bad reviews. I’m almost certain the reviews will come back along the lines of “not much of an upgrade, don’t upgrade from iPhone 11 unless you want the latest and greatest. If you’re coming from an older model then it’s a decent upgrade”Right, but people will discover the “flaws” or “downsides” eventually once the reviews are out or once they’ve got the phone in their hands and will just return the phone if they are unsatisfied within the 14-day period. But this is something I don’t understand, Apple will be making A LOT of money from sales, and a lot of exposure. I’m pretty sure that the last thing they care about is other sites and channels also getting big £££ out of Apple’s creationThe embargo is there so that it gives all these sites and Youtubers an equal chance to put as much effort as they can on these hands-on video because iPhone month is $$$ for a lot of these sites/channels.
Was thinking about this today, I am tempted to start off as new but downloading apps again will be a bit of a pain. I might restore from backup and then do a 'Reset all settings' so that the phone feels new but all my apps and data remains.Had a right nightmare with my iCloud account. Had issues with keychain not loading all my passwords when I moved from my 11 pro down to the SE for the week. Had to restore 3 times and then only after I’d decided to resort to an iTunes backup and restore and completed the backup to my Mac did the keychain update on the phone.
After all that faff I’ve decided to go with a clean slate and start the 12 off as new and not restore.
All the data will come down from iCloud and I’ll get the chance to prune all my apps down and sort it out.
Also I’ve manage to abstain from ios14 so will be great starting new with it!
So are you all restorers or going clean?

First time back on ios this will be so starting clean for sure. I've seen ios14 up close on a 1st gen se which wouldn't have done it justice. All I did was add a couple of widgets to see what they looked like. I didn't delve into settings deeply on purpose as I kinda knew I was ready to leave Android and Samsung for a while.Had a right nightmare with my iCloud account.
