No problem, don't mind at all. Just the phone, I'll pay it off sooner - I recently renegotiated my Vodafone sim only deal.

£21.25 40gb data unlimited everything else on their max speed too.
I’ve just joined Vodafone too as they apparently have the best coverage in my area. Looks a good deal. I’ve stretched mine over 24 months as I keep my phones that long anyway.

@UltraInstinct thanks for the photos.

The case looks excellent. Good to see that Apple have altered the design to keep the bottom of the phone protected.
Yeah I'm a fan of the enclosed bottom part, reminds me of my 5S leather case. I seem to remember they changed it with the 6 because you couldn't use some docks with the enclosed bottom...

Lol I’ll be joining you there. I’m using them and they can’t seem to get my collection address or date right atm 😅. Hoping for a Saturday pick up as they promised but we’ll see...

That’s great news! I put like new for mine as I locked in a great price so I hope for the same
Did you end up going for ReBuy in the end ? Did you get more compared to the other sites?
I’ve delayed my pick up until Wednesday as I don’t want to be without a phone for too long!

Anyone having second thoughts about MagSafe? I ordered the charger as obviously it'd be cool to try when I pick up my phone, but practically it looks like it'll be more difficult to use when charging overnight than Qi (having to take the puck off each time and not let the cable slip behind my bedside table), and when I need it to charge quickly it'll still be slower than just using Lightning. Thinking of cancelling my order for it, it's not due until November anyway.

What I am interested in is the MagSafe Duo charger, however. I travel a lot for work and currently have a crappy AirPower knockoff, but it charges immensely slowly, and when there are 3 devices on it, doesn't charge consistently. Love the look of the small, foldable Duo. Might just wait for that.

I’ll be waiting for the duo as it’s useful for travelling as you said

I have one of these... Belkin BOOST↑CHARGE™ 3-in-1 Wireless Charger that I bought 2 years ago, never have to charge during the day so wouldn't give it up for the new MagSafe puck, makes no sense.

I wasn't going to bother but noticed my local store had them to collect so I went and got one.

Had to reserve and pick a time slot.
Leeds is my nearest and had them in but I’d want to look at 2 colours in person before deciding, plus it’s a 70ish mile drive into a higher risk area.
Plus I’d only end up buying a leather one at launch anyway, so at less than £10 for the ringke and 3 screen protectors from Amazon I’ll be sedated enough until the leather turns up.

From what I remember with the original Apple Watch, it was the support profile at some point after they were preparing for shipment? For some reason I don’t think this worked for me with the AW4.

I would hazard a guess it is to do with if they are in China or not, and would imagine these are not so will be later!
I have a feeling when a shipping label is put on an iPhone that’s when the serial number is assigned. When the uk logistics company do that I’m not sure, suppose it depends on how busy they are and how long it would take them to sort all the orders.

I did consider buying that actually but looks inconveniently sized for travelling - similar story with the Mophie version. At least the Duo looks like it could fold up and slip into my work bag!

I cancelled mine too, I really cannot justify spending £40 when I have the wall adaptor and the cable which works perfectly well 😂

Vodafone is really good, I'm with them too. They also are the only network to have 5G in my area too! I'm excited to put that to the test on Friday haha

Have AirUnleashed and it’s pants. Can never get it to sit right first time and can’t tell half the time of it was charging. Woken up many a morning to find either my watch, AirPods or phone out of juice.

It’s the duo for me or I’m going to wait for belkin’s option of charging all three

I have to confess that I’m not genned up on these as yet but do I understand correctly that you need, for example, the MagSafe Charger (“puck”) at £39 😱 AND the 20w USBC Power Adapter at £19? A total of £58? 😱😱😱

I'm also waiting for the duo. Bit worried because I saw a Techradar article that basically implied because Apple hadn't yet given a date of release for them that it could be like the other wireless charging pad they announced when the 11 was released that never ended up happening...

i wish they’d read your comment before they posted out my AW S6 SBTi... they’ve used UPS again! No time slots and pray it arrives is the order of the day with them!
UPS delivered a MacBook Air to a house over the road and down at the other end of my street a few months ago!
I had been sat watching out of the window knowing it wasn’t far away when I got the delivery email. Luckily whilst on the phone complaining to their delivery manager trying to figure out what had gone on, the lady it had been delivered to arrived at my door with the box unopened in her arms.

Apple and charging vapourware products.

It could be coming in November.

Nah won’t be that. The duo is already half there with the MagSafe charger!

I was planning on using my 18W 11 Pro charger which I'm 90% sure would work fine, but yeah, if you're coming from an older model it's a tough pill to swallow!

...have convinced myself to wait for the Duo and cancelled the standard MagSafe.

That's what the sensible part of me reckons too. I think it'll be released in conjunction with the Max.

That's very true!! Now if only they can hurry up and release the other side 😂
