I hear of loads of people on here that have their 12 Pro on preparing for shipment. Mine is still on processing with a Friday 23rd delivery date....should I be nervous?

Or am I the only one who has a phone already in the UK :)

This site is bad for your health BTW :D

Yeah, idk what’s the point of an embargo on these videos. I know the reviews aren’t always 100% positive, there’s always some downsides (whether it’s battery life, or camera quality, or whatever) but even if you don’t tell people about it before they pre-order the phone, they will discover it anyway once the phone is delivered and return the phone if they don’t find those downsides acceptable. The embargo isn’t going to stop anything!

I kind of wish they would put a couple of models in store the day after the announcement. It would give some people the opportunity to look at/handle the devices before they pre order.

They should get yours to you on the 23rd. Maybe yours is coming from the UK directly, whilst ours are travelling to the UK en masse on a pallet.

Is yours for delivery? I’m collecting in-store, and mine is still Processing.

All I'm saying I've bagged a 512gb iPhone 12 Pro for £849.....Amazon is still on 💪 (Please take the money!)

Haven't had a new iPhone since the X. Are they still giving a year of Apple TV+ with new devices?

I believe they do offer a period of free Apple+ TV (if you haven’t had it before) but it may be for less than a year now.

I’ve had it for the last year and haven’t been able find anything that I want to watch to be honest. It’s no Netflix for sure.

because I couldn’t decide for 10mins which phone and colour to order I ended up with the first week of November for delivery... silver 12 pro still looks like the longest lead time. Hoping my delivery gets brought forward.

I asked a question on here a few days ago about what happens if order phone on Barclays finance WITH a trade in (which reduces monthly payment), but subsequently decide NOT to trade in. Th general response was that Apple would charge your credit card for the trade in amount, but payments would stay at reduced amount.

I just did an online chat with Apple and the representative said different, and that the finance payments would increase, if the trade in was cancelled. If this is true then have to assume Barclays approve credit based on full cost of handset rather than net of trade in value.

Has anyone done this when ordering their phone and can confirm what information they were given in the confirmation/terms as to what happens if they don't send in the trade in device??

Thanks

Is anyone getting iUP/instore pick up worried about lockdown? I’m seeing a lot on the news this morning about further restrictions.

Anyone having second thoughts about MagSafe? I ordered the charger as obviously it'd be cool to try when I pick up my phone, but practically it looks like it'll be more difficult to use when charging overnight than Qi (having to take the puck off each time and not let the cable slip behind my bedside table), and when I need it to charge quickly it'll still be slower than just using Lightning. Thinking of cancelling my order for it, it's not due until November anyway.

What I am interested in is the MagSafe Duo charger, however. I travel a lot for work and currently have a crappy AirPower knockoff, but it charges immensely slowly, and when there are 3 devices on it, doesn't charge consistently. Love the look of the small, foldable Duo. Might just wait for that.
I cancelled mine too, I really cannot justify spending £40 when I have the wall adaptor and the cable which works perfectly well 😂

...yea have to agree.

I have a Bolse 7 usb charger, with 2 lightning cables attached - these charge my iDevices pretty quickly so why would I swap this out for a Magsafe charger which would charger slower...!!!

I think Wales will be the first to have some sort of circuit breaker lockdown. Boris really doesn't want to have that applied across the nation aka mainly England. Which is why him and the gov are pushing for places to go under the new tier system but those current tier 1-3 rules don't really affect retail shops. Although I suppose if you do have to travel to a tier 3 to pick up an iPhone I suppose that wouldn't be classed as necessary :p

We should be ok I think as there is normally a bit of a delay in them applying any new restrictions - So they may get announced this week but applied from next week for example. But honestly, who knows at this rate.

I’d recommend Ted Lasso, I thought it looked crap from the trailers but it’s actually very good. I tried watching Tiny Planet but didn’t finish the first episode, haven’t watched anything else yet, I might watch Tehran.
