No I’m not. My early 2015 13” MacBook Pro is still working fine even it sounds like a jet engine after a while and the display is not in the best of conditions. Plus I have switched to a Windows 10 gaming laptop as my primary every day computer. It’s only just over a year old and far better performing then my MacBook Pro.
I’m primarily using my MacBook Pro for my iTunes library and my iPhone and iPad syncing. I did think about replacing it with one of the new Mac Minis but as I’m already getting an Xbox Series X and a PS5 as well as the iPhone 12 Pro Max I cant justify it.
I’ll be ordering 2 Airs.
The when is dependent on Amazon stocking it, I’d like to take advantage of the 5 payments.
Good morning team, just woke up to an Apple dispatch notification! Apple Watch is en route fresh out the factory! Getting a chance to track it American style lol. Also checked cases, they both are due for delivery today which is exciting... In other news also new Xbox is amazingggg!!! Good week and its only gonna get better 
Yeah the Air looks perfect for me too! Do you reckon Amazon will stock models with 16gb RAM and 512GB SSD or will they just be stock units?

I’m not sure, I’d go base model for the Mrs. But personally I’d prefer a 16gb RAM model.

Seriously thinking about the the new Mac Mini, my current one is the 2011 model, it’s on its last legs to be honest but with new iPhone in a few days, new iPad Pro back in the summer and at Christmas the S6 Apple Watch...
I had no reason to believe I could swing a new Mac past the other half.... until about 9.30 last night when out of the blue “you should get one of those new Mac minis, you’ve hung onto this one long enough” 😁😁😁

Nearly found myself getting a 13” MBP but sense kicked in and though it too soon to replace my 2019 model
I’d say go for it! They are very reasonably priced and will pack a big punch performance wise!
Go for it! My MBP is still alive so not going to take the plunge this time lol
If you have fairly recent machines it doesn’t make sense.
I use my msi laptop for most stuff, Arch for personal and a Windows VM for specific stuff needed at uni which gets replaced with a fresh VM at the start of every new module.
The wife is limping along on a 2012 MacBook Air, its microphone no longer works and it seems to have compatibility issues with the 2nd gen AirPods I bought her a few weeks ago. Plus when using Teams it ramps up the fan to crazy levels, even with new thermal paste and a new fan.
I think she’s definitely in need something new and would really love the fanless design of the new Air 😂
Yup defective screen so they gave me a replacement which was easy to sort out - return the original and within 48 hours the replacement is shipped.
Hey gang, just wanted some thought thoughts on this adapter - I think the only place to buy it at the moment is Belkin direct. I bought the 2019 16” 32GB 2TB 8GB Gfx and i9 octocore earlier in the year so will keep this for a good few years and get the M4 MacBook Pro or thereabouts...
