I wonder out of all of us in here will receive the phone first?

We should run a lil friendly competition...

First one to take a pic of their iphone 12PM/12M box and post it here wins!

On a side note, went for a walk earlier and looks like EE are upgrading my local mast with new 5G antennas, hopefully it will mean i'll get 5G inside when my 12PM arrives tomorrow, it already says i should get it outside but I was right on the edge

Yeah, no.

Currys have a history of doing this - it is from experience that we all probably have gone through at some point.

You'd think they'd learn but they don't - just want orders from people and don't really care if they get launch day delivery. Again coming from experience - this is why I buy direct from Apple now
Oh why wasnt this posted earlier in the thread?

Out of curiosity, all those who ordered from Currys expecting a day one delivery, what were you thinking? Currys is a terrible retailer and have a reputation for this sort of stuff. Surely ordering off them means you accept the risk of not getting it on day one?
Yes, I’m guessing the main reason to do so is the cashback, personally I’d just prefer the guarantee of having the device on day one, and I already get decent cashback through my Amex anyway.

Worst part is website still shows as delivery for tomorrow - njo one has bothered to email or ring to say there is a delay!

So how did you find out. From their CS. Weren’t they shouting about the fact they had the best 12pm contract out there

Live chat - just asking if they had tracking details. They offered me £5 credit as an apology. I refused and now looking at new contracts elsewhere. No idea who’s decent in Nottingham/Peterborough way though.

So Vodafone got my shipping address wrong. Repeatedly told me it had been changed throughout the week. DPD today said they got it wrong. So Vodafone changed it with them and my delivery got pushed to 16th. Vodafone have given me £75 in compensation. Managed to pay £5 for DPD premium and now the delivery is coming tomorrow before 12. And now Vodafone are giving me the £5 for DPD premium delivery. They may cock up but they will chuck money at you to sort it out

TL;DR is after initial nonsense. Guaranteed premium delivery from DPD for free plus £75 quid in compensation and my 12PM will be here before 12PM tomorrow.

£75 is defo a solid

For those that are tracking via DHL Package, are you choosing ‘shipment number’ or ‘customer reference’ using the value from Syncreon? Nothing seems to work here.

My work uses DPD to deliver a lot of our products and the driver didn't have enough room to pick up all our stuff yesterday afternoon, they're absolutely chocker at the moment so do be patient with them tomorrow.
I am not surprised, so I understand.

There will be more phones than usual, as I wanted to collect mine in store but had to go the delivery route.
