The Quick Transfer process does NOT transfer Apple Watch from old iPhone to new.

When I did my transfer from XS to iPhone 12, everything transferred over other than my S4 Watch. I had to then unpair the watch from the XS and repair it to the iPhone 12 (you can’t have a watch paired to more than one iPhone at a time) but once I repaired, all the Apple Watch data from old phone to new was brought over (it kept all my historic workouts and everything).

The process of unpairing the watch from an old iPhone actually creates a backup of the watch. When you then repair it to the new iPhone, you just opt to ‘Restore from Back up’ instead of ‘Set up as new Watch’.

It does transfer, but you have to accept a request to do it. I just can’t remember if that request was on my phone or my watch 😂 thought it has been 3 weeks since.
I had the notification when moving from XR to 12 Pro and it worked perfectly.

I‘m really not understanding how people can mess up just ONE of these protectors???

It comes with a blue plastic ‘guide’ which you first place over the screen of the iPhone.

Next, holding the protector upside down over the iPhone screen and ‘guide’ , peel back the protective plastic film on the protector (whilst continuing to hold it up upside down - this ensures no dust can fall onto the face of the protector) and then slowly lower it down on top of the ‘guide’ which ensures 100% correct alignment.

Finally, press down in the centre of the protector and watch the giant air bubble slowly move itself towards the outside edge of the screen. Any further smaller air bubbles can be teased out with a small squeegee or plastic card or even a cloth and voila! Done!!

Takes me literally 10 seconds - I’ve done hundreds of these for family and friends. This method ALWAYS works flawlessly!

Im hopeless at applying screen protectors on anything and never get them right, but, like you say, the esr was a piece of piss.
Even a ham fist like me got it on perfectly!

It does transfer, but you have to accept a request to do it. I just can’t remember if that request was on my phone or my watch 😂 thought it has been 3 weeks since.

It didn't work I promise you - I accepted the request but it failed.

My Wife’s iPhone Mini was supposed to be delivered today by DHL. They gave a window which they missed and then txt to say it’s delayed. Then 90 minutes later the tracking says “delivery attempted”. It clearly hasn’t been attempted as we’ve been home since 1:30pm, and there was no calling card through the door.

Wife just rang DHL and they said they don’t have authority to redeliver and it will have to be returned to Apple and we need to contact Apple to get it redelivered?!?!?!

Got a question if anyone can help. I’ve always done the upgrade programme in a shop before now, but this time ordered on the website for delivery.

I’ve had confirmation that it has been sent today, due date next Wednesday 18th. BUT the tracking number is wrong for DPD, says ‘delivered on 22nd May’ so must be for another package. Just called Apple but couldn’t get through - ‘sincere apologies we’re unable to put you through’ etc.

Anyone else had this or just my order? Thanks in advance folks.

Mine was supposed to be delivered between 12:57-13:57. Then got the delayed text. Now it says it’s back to the delivery depot. Called them and they say will be delivered tomorrow.
Maybe try calling them.

For 12 pro, we managed to grab on the launch day at £7.99 via phone setting>coverage.

the dpd number are reused so that’s an old
Number nearer the time it will change to the new number nothing to worry about

I always go free hand and they line up perfect. I mess it up with guide so i dont use them any more

I think I was lucky enough to be the first of our forum to receive our phones this morning, feel for those of you who are still waiting!
Seriously impressed with the phone, feels and looks great, no yellow screen issue and everything in set up went super smooth. Set up from scratch as it’s my first proper iPhone since the 6+, loving it 😁.

RM delivered my EE sim shortly after, just waiting for my number to port over from O2, but 5G speeds on EE are great. Went for a walk in between the showers and took a few photos and the camera is very impressive.
One very happy bunny back in the iPhone universe!

Any know know how I can return an Apple Silicone case that I bought from Apple? On my order status it says "Arriving soon" even though I've had it for over a week now. There is no option to initiate a return. Just tried to phone Apple but they said they can't take my call at the moment. Any ideas?

DHL are the absolute worst company ever. The amount of lies. Home all day but they attempted delivery apparently. What a joke. Luckily there's some available to pick up in store tomorrow so just going to do that and cancel this home delivery one.

Has it finished now? Did you lose anything unpairing and repairing?

Yes think the whole transfer between phones took around 25-40 minutes not too sure as was busy doing other stuff at the same point and I didn't lose anything on the watch between the unpair/repair process, have done it several times before with no issues

To be totally honest as am seeing zero difference screen wise to my XS Max, take a look at these comparisons, doesn’t seem like the phone is any different to me, will be when I take pics I guess but generally just exactly the same, in fact the Xs Max looks crisper.

I was literally saying the same thing, coming from an XS Max i can't see any differences not even the size, the screen looks the same, resolution looks the same. Camera will be better but everything else is underwhelming. Hate to imagine what its like coming from an 11 Pro Max
