Regarding the Anytime Upgrade fee from EE, does that mean you will have to pay £300 for the iPhone 13 assuming it comes out in 10-11 months rather than 12 months where there’s no fee? Or have they made exceptions in the past like when XS came out in September 2018 only 10 months after the X in November 2017.

I’m stuck between paying the ~£40 EE SIM plus IUP or just going full EE phone+contract. Planning on getting 12 Pro Max 512GB in blue.

Here we are again!

I'll be going for the iPhone 12 Pro Max 256gb (unsure of colour) however rather frustrated that Apple is forcing UK users to visit the madness of Apple retail at possibly the worst time of all :(

You only need to visit if you're doing iUP (not worth it) or if you've selected in store pickup.

On the retail app at the moment you can select your desired phone and options. Based on past experience does anyone know if the "add to bag" button will become active at 1pm or will the page need reloaded?

For a few hours before 1pm tomorrow, the store will be down, so you won’t actually be able access your “favourites”. After 1pm, the app will become “active” again, and at that point and after choosing your favourite/device you will be able to add to bag and complete the order.
Hope that made sense...

Sorry guys I hate to do this, but am way behind on all the news and launch info. Stuck at work but I want the new iPhone 12 Pro Max and I'm guessing it will be popular?

What's the best chance of getting an order in tomorrow? Apple Online UK store or Three mobile etc?

Hi all, it’s the first time I‘m pre-ordering an iPhone in the UK after spending the last couple of years in the US.

Can anyone share the link / point me to where I‘m supposed to go for the iUP? It’s not really prominent. I remember a few years ago there was a different process for making a reservation for it.

Thanks in advance.

I will be doing IUP so I'm going to have to visit unfortunately.
:( Why not go with the 24-month interest free monthly instalments, then sell it off privately?

You'll need to go in store for iUP.

I'd say about 0% chance mate as the pro max doesn't go on pre order until 06/11 ;)

What time can you order from tomorrow, never ordered a phone on release day.

I’m going to go for the 12 pro 256gb with AppleCare in the blue colour

You'll need to go in store for iUP.

Thanks, but don’t I need to make a reservation? I’m pretty sure I had to do that on pre-order day the last time I did a fresh sign up to iUP.

Let me check on that for you. iUP is different here and I didn't need to make a reservation last time I was on it.

Once pre-order starts, you can reserve your new iPhone online for pickup at an Apple Store near you, where one of our Specialists will help you enrol in the programme.

Looks like I’m joining the pre-order hype train for tomorrow
My wife has decided she wants the regular Pro not the Pro Max so I’ll be ordering for her tomorrow.
I won’t be at all jealous that she has a new iPhone before me…
😂😂😂 I’m preparing to pre order my boyfriends iPhone 12 tomorrow so jealous is not the word.

I keep reminding myself I love him so I can deal kinda. November 6 needs to hurry up

iPhone 12 Pro in Blue as well as the new iPad Air 4 so it's going to be stressful trying to order both for delivery next friday...

Those who are saying about your email address issues with Barclays what is the issue there? Is it that it doesn’t match up with your Apple ID one?

I'm not sure if it's something Barclays use in their credit check. I changed my email recently from @ googlemail to @ gmail (late adopter), tried using @ gmail and got declined (matches my AppleID), tried @ googlemail which I used for my iUP before (so I guess Barclays have it on record) and it went through. It could be total coincidence, though.
