Not been here since the launch of the iPhone X... skipped the XS & 11 Pro phones as they didn’t offer anything apart from small incremental updates. Really thought this would be the year I would grab a new iPhone, but... is anybody else just underwhelmed?

I was hoping for 120hz, or TouchID on the home button (seeing as we’ll all be wearing masks for the foreseeable). Just something more than just the usual refinements of better CPU, GPU, cameras... it’s the same every year.

I like the design, and sure the bump in specs are bound to be noticeable. But at £800 to £1000... really? And 5G is a joke in the UK and will be for a while yet.

I considered jumping to a Note 20 or S20, but so into the apple ecosystem that it wouldn’t be a good move in the long run.

Am I missing something? Convince me guys!

I really don’t understand this. Taiwan is only 7 hours ahead of us meaning that, at the moment, it’s just after 2:00am on Friday morning. I understood that pre-orders were synchronised around the world. I must be wrong.

Hi friends.

I’m coming from an iPhone 11 Pro 64GB and considering that lovely blue iPhone 12 64GB. Would you consider this as a downgrade considering I’m losing the telephoto camera?

Anyone else in this boat and thinking of doing the same? I don’t really like the shiny stainless steel look on the Pro and find the aluminium more appealing.

I'm going from a Pro to the non pro, and I'm not a photographer so don't take full advantage of the camera.

I also really wanted a red phone

Are these prices any good on EE 5G? ( I have a 4G sim apparently)

£23.30 unlimited data or £18.50 70gb data

But I wont be locking into a new contract, will continue my old 18m sim only contract

Don‘t think it’s anything to do with your email address.

During the pre-approval process, you have to provide (amongst other things) :

Employer Details
Gross Annual Income
Time with Bank
Account Number
Sort Code
Name
Address
Are you a home owner
Time at your address

So if there are gaps in some of the above - no doubt you’ll be declined.

Same here, let me know how you get on. Currently paying £20 for 200GB sim only on 4g.
