I went today, they would not let me in to collect it even though there was no one else in the store and the Apple employees where just standing around! Oh well I will go again tomorrow and collect it in my allocated time slot.

Should do the same for people who have swapped to the loan option instead. Give them a free month. They had no choice because there was no IUP.
So I saw this screenshot online - looks like we can get an QR code instantly online/via the MYEE app with 50p charge. Has anyone tried this? Don’t see any reason why anyone would want to pay £1.50 and have to wait a couple days for a printed QR code?
We have no ideas how they got the option. I have ordered two esims this week and can not get that option whatsoever. I also find it appealing they will charge 50p for it digitally.
I mean I understand what you mean, that would have been a nice gesture. But IUP will be an option when the stores open again, would have meant waiting a month though, so swings and roundabouts

I had a look in MyEE > Account Settings > Replace your sim/esim > new esim handset, but then don’t want to proceed as I just want to see if I have ‘digital’ option.

I ordered it over the phone with no charge but like you said its all that waiting. God knows when will it arrive.
I tried that a couple of weeks ago the system is broken and it won’t produce a QR code. Apparently they are working on it but that option shouldn’t be live yet.

I don’t see any advantage if you only use one sim.
There is only a benefit if you use a personal and a work line in one phone.
I like the California Poppy in tempted to buy one in that colour.
I've got a 2nd business line on a physical SIM so it means I can have both and only one phone to carry
Ahh, good to know they’re working on it! It just makes a lot more sense for something like a QR code to be done online instead of post. I understand there could be security/fraud issue but hopefully EE will sort something out to make it as secure as possible

I’m impressed that the front glass didn’t break after so many continued drops.
Re cases - I went for a Silicone Plum and a Leather Californian Poppy. I love the animations when you put the cases on (the animation colour matches the case). Although everytime I go to show someone because it’s ‘cool’ it never works 🤦🏻♂️ 😂
mainly to not carry a personal and work phone.
I use personal as a e-sim and work as a o2 sim.
I'm waiting for Apple update to enable 5g when using dual sim.
Purely for me I just think it’s 2020 and I don’t want to mess about with a tiny plastic thing and sticking a pin 📌 in a phone no more no less
hopefully next year it’s a thing of the past that space in the phone surely could be made to do more
