Does anyone have the silicone case in navy and is using it on a Pacific Blue Pro/Pro Max? Would you be able to share some pics if is please? Deciding whether to go for the leather Apple case or the silicone one.

HomePod Mini review as promised;
TOTALLY UNDERWHELMED! (By Hype) Ok so I expected it so no big deal, the winner IS that that power brick can now be used with my MagSafe chargers as the HomePod is working perfectly from one of my Zendure power banks 👍
To get things in perspective my home is linked throughout with a B&O system and I also have around 10 Sonos units of various sizes so I get to know half reasonable sound, I also have 15 plus Alexas including Sonos integrated ones but rarely would use those for music, so what is this HomePod mini like, its very light, very compact, set up was easy peasy with my phone and took seconds, sound is Ok at lower volume, at higher volume its tinny and the Amazon Echo blows its socks off, so dont get your hopes up, this IS NOT a home hifi if system its a budget speaker with magic in it, its a handy extension to Siri, useful for intercom if you have multiple units, I know this as we use our Alexa intercom system A LOT, it saves it being a shouty house.
My plan was to put this unit in my motorhome which has a Bose system at the moment but I want to link to my Apple TV’s, I have one in the front and one on the rear so will be testing it out, if it works well i will get another HomePod mini as the 20w charging block is the winner for me and have one in the front and one in the rear, may even see how they pair for normal music but doubt they will compete with the Bose system.
So to wrap up on initial thoughts, good value if you want a 20w charging block, if not then I would buy an echo as you will get SO much more home integration for smart enabled devices, but at the end of the day its an Apple gadget and at the price including a 20w power brick makes the Apple 12 plastic/leather cases at £59 an absolute RIP OFF! I sent mine back it was awful, you will have MUCH more fun with the HomePod Mini, just remember it is what it is, would be great for picnics if you have a Mifi mobile unit, I still have a lot to learn about this thing as there is no clear app for it to change settings or indeed Wi-Fi settings. Best thing is it DOES NOT need that 20w Power brick to work BUT the MagSafe puck DOES IF you want the max 15w charging for your phone, none Apple charging bricks will only be allowed to power it at 10w max as Apple have blocked any more 😉

Shame it does not support stand alone Spotify streaming. Yes yes it supports Apple Music but I moved to Spotify just before summer after using Apple Music from day and tbh Spotify just blows Apple Music out of the park.
I think Spotify will come, but at the end of the day its a budget speaker although great value for all the technology inside, they are just late to the party and no good for real home automation, too restricted by lack of integration with anything non Apple

It's such a shame because everything that has a serial number will become scrap! Every device is managed and tracked through the system and Apple will just disable them.

That is the very reason Im sticking with Sonos and Echo range for now. I can even check my Mercedes Status with Alexa on my Echos lol.
Talking of Mercedes did you know that there is no manual system to change the headlamps to European when abroad, according to customer service the car knows where you are and alters it automatically 😳
I have ordered the Echo 4 that’s arriving tomorrow, so can do a side by side test, at the moment my other echos apart from the puck types blow it away!...wow - is the sound really that bad??!

The HomePod Mini looks lost in my motorhome, need to hide the wire though. I had it playing in there and to be honest it’s going to need two, the sound was very poor, maybe too much soft furnishings absorbing it, I was worried even one would be too much but not at all, not that we will be wanting to rock away in it 😄

Did you update the Mercedes Me app yesterday. Apparently you can send police the tracking info direct from your phone within the app if your car gets stolen lol.
I have an E-Class Cabriolet on order and the tech is amazing. The MBUX system makes CarPlay look like something from prehistoric times. There are so many innovations these days such as when you come to a set of traffic lights that are on red and stop, the cameras automatically point up at the traffic lights so you can see them on the screen rather than scrunch up to try and see the lights through the windscreen.
It does look absolutely pathetic so I have tried to bulk it out with a fake plant but dont know what looks more stupid, in truth the fake plant on its own is fine without the egg 😁. I have room the other side the same and loads of room at the front, maybe I need 4 👍

Was augmented reality navigation available to add when you placed an order. I added to my order last year but due to lack of parts it and without effecting delivery times i had to amend the order. Thats one thing i really wanted.
Yes its standard as part of the 2021 MBUX package. That augmented reality is clever. I have seen some youtube clips. A english guy demonstrated it on his A-Class AMG.
