Annoyingly I did buy a blue Aplple Leather case for the 8 but with the intention of just using occasionally when I knew I could be careful. I forgot about it completely then found in a drawer after I had moved onto the X!
I always take my stuff to a drop-off point where they scan it and then you get an immediate text and email. Then UPS pick it up the next day from the drop-off point.
The Lightning to USB-C cable included is noticeably thinner than the one I bought from Apple to go with my X 3 years ago though, so we actually got a downgrade..classic Apple! 😬
Just for sampling, mine was only reflect as this status collection scan at night but UPs collected in afternoon.
I guess there is issue with UPS scanning and real-time update. Your case is special as there is no update and something is not right.
Apple collected my Graphite 12PM on Monday and delivered it to Apple this morning, too.
If you track from your order page you should see it as collected/delivered. The tracking number from the printed label didn’t work for me, only the order page did. Try that - there’s a tracking link for the return nested within the order page.
Yeah I've seen this in reviews, apparently the cables bundled with the iPhones are the cheaper version of the cables sold in the Apple store, I've got an Apple lightning to USB-C cable I bought a couple of years ago and it's much better quality.

I think you will find they have mastered the art of almost invisible leather over plastic, when you look at the new Apple HomePod Mini including a 20w Charging brick for £99 it makes you realise what an utter rip off the cases are for RRP of £58, will be interested in your views, mine has gone back.
Just a heads up, in case you didn’t know, every time you click “download label” in order status or the app it generates a new tracking number, this might be why you’re not seeing a scan? Also Apple’s return status I.e collected by courier etc is mega slow to update.
If you have the original tracking number and it isn’t showing a scan then sorry to hear that, hope it sorts itself out soon

Yes I agree great battery length, happy with mine so far, camera is brilliant to play with.
I have most location services on, hey siri, raise to wake , screen time on etc and still getting good battery life. Busy day at work so haven’t
used the phone constantly but still impressed

Well I got my Apple HomeHub Mini today and guess what? It has a braided power lead, so whoever leaked it was getting close but not close enough 👍

Its all down to weight, they sell millions so if all added together the total weight saving could be the equivalent of saving £5 globally every little helps 👍 And by the way the box my Apple phone box came in was quite large, it could have had 4 phone boxes in it so what was the nonsense about the charger taking up too much space?
I think this may explain my difficulty. When I initiated the return on the 5th November I was given until the 19th to return it to Apple. At that time I printed a return label and then clicked through to UPS to book a collection. They only showed dates upto 5 working days ahead which was too soon for me so I left it for another week or so. I was still well within the return period. I then booked a collection for yesterday but couldn't find the original label so I printed another. The phone was collected by UPS yesterday morning with the 2nd label attached but nothing is showing in my Apple Store App to confirm collection. I'm a little worried now and wonder whether the printing of a second return label has confused the system.
It won’t have confused the system, all labels that you print will have your Apple returns number on. UPS returns are typically next day delivery mon-fri. You should get an email from Apple soon
if you still have a copy of the label you printed off you can check UPS tracking

Unfortunately I don't. It was rather naive of me not to keep a copy and at least take a photo of the driver in possession of my return. Hopefully all will be well. Thanks very much for your help on this. It's much appreciated.
Incidentally, I've just searched for the original return label that I thought I had lost and I've found it. I can see the Return Authorisation Number on there so hopefully that will help me trace it.
Lol, it was out for delivery yesterday morning they sent me a text at 9am... heard nothing kept on saying driver running late... even recieved another text at 6pm saying your parcel due to arrive by end of the day....nothing again...

Applied the ESR screen protector to my Pro Max and after botching up the first attempt (completely my fault as I got some fluff under the screen protector and tried to use the dust sticker to retrieve it but made it worse 
), the second screen protector went on perfectly and am very happy with it. Would recommend as it covers the notch as well unlike the Spigen one.

Found the original label and tracking number. Tracking it was collected 13th but nothing since. Least the collection matches the cctv of it being collected
