Yeah I sent mine on Friday and got paid today around 5pm. Money will be in my account tomorrow. £385 for my xs max 64gb
Just checked the tracking and apparently it only arrived today so there must have been postal delays, after their 2 PM cutoff so expecting an update tomorrow.

What’s the status of YouTube pip? on 12 pro max, with YouTube premium, I can’t get Picture in Picture working from the YouTube app

i swopped my 11 Pro Max (Which I loved) for the 12 Pro Max.

Th only problem I had with the 11 Pro Max was that I could not use Siri to set date and time for reminders, it would just set a reminder with with no date or time.

So the first thing I tried was setting reminders and it works perfectly date, time and notifications.

So very happy here.

Just heads up 10EXTRA finishes tomorrow on Music Magpie.

Does anyone know if I can still send in my old iPhone for an order I placed with MusicMagpie on Monday, 2 November 2020.

I believe it's 21 days which makes it Monday 23rd November but the postage says please allow 7 days for the item to arrive.

Not sure if I've left it too late.

The postage they use is 48 hour tracked so they’ll get it by Friday or Monday if you post tomorrow. That’s if Royal Mail play ball of course

Poppy getting dirteh.

I’ve got one and haven’t used it yet. Don’t like the look of this. Might have to get rid!

Posted mine on Friday, they received it at 2pm yesterday and they’re only going to process it today, so I wouldn’t hold your breath I’m afraid.

So how does this work

Just randomly jumping here ..... a word of warning about their 48 hour tracked service .... it doesn’t cover loss ..... when the 11 was released I sold my XS ... I used their tracked service and it was tracked to the RM sorting office and disappeared ... RM offered me £20 and MM didn’t receive it .... a big lesson learned by me to pay for special delivery in future.

Sure items sent via MM label are insured....

Just checked, it says they are: https://help.musicmagpie.co.uk/hc/e...139-Are-my-items-insured-on-their-way-to-you-

When I posted one of my items a couple of years ago, Royal Mail sent it to wrong DO by accident, added two days on.

Posted mine to Brightstar (Apple trade in) via Royal Mail 48 hour tracked on 2/11. It then spent a leisurely 3 days in Atherstone Warwickshire, (about 10 miles from its final destination) and was finally delivered on Saturday 7/11. Not bad for Royal Mail I suppose.

Oh wow! That’s an alarming story! I was under the impression that MusicMagpie’s mail service was fully insured.

I sent them my 2015 12” Retina MacBook on Monday and it’s still with Royal Mail. Fingers crossed.

I hope you are kidding! They collected mine yesterday first thing and I haven't heard a thing. Can't afford to write off my refund of £1,099.
Just an update on my return to Apple via UPS. My iOS app still suggests that the courier has yet to receive it but I spoke to Apple Customer Services this morning who confirm that Apple received it yesterday afternoon.

Hugely relieved / lessons learned.

Should I be concerned? I sent an iPhone 12 pro back to Apple on Friday. UPS tracking status says it was delivered yesterday, but the apple status says that hasn’t even been ‘received by carrier’ yet.

I really don’t think so. I’m sure that if you call Apple they will confirm that they’ve got it. There’s a lag in their updating the system, that’s all.

The new Echo 4 Dot arrived, wow what a bargain at £28.99, placed them side by side, the Dot oozes quality and well thought out design, raised buttons for visually impaired, a visual light you can see from any angle, actual function buttons and Aux 3.5, the dust collecting cheap looking plastic top on the HomePod mini which shows fingerprints if you have the black top doesn’t exist on the dot, sound wise the dot is louder and I find it hard to compare sound difference but the mini did sound slightly tinny, at the end of the day these are cheap budget speakers so can’t expect too much, they aren’t going to win any hifi awards, the dot trounces the mini in functionality overall, the mini wins in Apple eco system integration but you are going to be very lonely and miss out on the huge wider outside world connectivity functionality that the Amazon dot offers, it really makes the mini seem archaic with no real understanding or interest in connecting with the bigger world.

Conclusion: The HomePod mini is being returned, my home is fully automated and runs flawlessly on Amazons system, I bought the HomePod to put in my motorhome hoping to benefit from linking my Apple TV’s to it but lack of any other real functionally killed it off, Amazon are King and this new bargain dot will now be a great addition.

£99 mini v £29.99 dot? The dot is an absolute steal at the current offer price!
