I wish the 12 also had a telephoto rather than the UWide lens.

Sucks that you have to go “pro” ala expensive just to get that. I can count on two fingers the amount of times I’ve used UWide on my 11 Pro Max. And both of those resulted in an image I instantly deleted. Garbage feature.

The telephoto on the other hand .. used all the time. Once you have it , flipping between 1x and 2x to get an alt-perspective is a must have.

I was the opposite rarely used the zoom and always used the wide angle, my S20U has 100x zoom and I have used it once to show my wife who went... meh and that was it.

I know it’s a terrible reason but of course pro for the camera etc but as I have a MacBook Pro too can’t just have a standard iPhone ;)

I have an MBP and an iPP, so i really do need the 12Pro.

Also, the camera the camera the camera. I do take lots of photographs, and I live in a stunning part of Scotland, so the camera will keep me busy during the months that wider travel is disrupted.

SOLD!

11 Pro > SE 2020 > 12 for me, didn't like my 11 Pro so ended up with an SE just to bridge the gap. If the 12 didn't have the OLED screen this year then not sure what i'd have done.

So which device is everyone using to get their pre-order in, iPhone or iPad or have both ready just in case?

Both, plus MacBook Pro. Can’t be too careful.

I was using an SE 2020 for a month or so in the summer, as I’d bought it for my mum but we were still in lockdown. Great phone, loved it. The 12 does look fantastic, though.

I can't decide between Pacific Blue or Silver. I wish we'd seen some hands on videos to see how the colour really looks...
Silver or Graphite for me, agree with the hands on videos. Id like to know if the graphite has any shine to it or if its just a dull matte colour.

Blue was never an option, I think people always jump on the hype of a new colour for some reason for a phone that will probably be in a case and you won't even see, do you REALLY want a blue (or green on the 11) phone? Doesn't look as premium!

It is usb-c
USB C if I’m not mistaken. It’s the way ahead. Pity that iPhones have not yet changed to this standard.
It is USB-C. Can see a picture on the cached version from Google.

....dammit!

I have a Bolse 7 usb multi-charger which I use for all my i-devices at home - that now means if I want the MagSafe charger, I’m gonna have to buy some kind of adaptor as don’t have any usb-c sockets at home anywhere.

Yet another expense!!!!
