I ended up accepting £700 for my iPhone only accepted because I go away on holiday at weekend and didn’t want the stress in case I didn’t get my phone back in time etc
My phone was immaculate not a single mark anywhere

I was suppose to get £760.50 they received then said it was grade B so offered £620 I rejected then offered £680 I rejected then offered £700 I did accept but they then emailed saying they are glad we could meet on a price and said they’ll give me £5 extra if I left a good trust pilot review

This is the email below….

I am glad we can find a price point that works for you and just before I push the device into the payment queue what I can do for you is increase your offer by £5 in return all I would require is for you to leave us a quick Trust Pilot review based on your experience with ourselves.

If you could include anything along the lines of:

Fast and Easy process from start to end.

If you would recommend to family and friends.

If you would choose to recycle again with us in the future.

Clear Communication and Updates along the process.

Easy to contact and friendly Customer Service.

That would be a huge help for a small business like us as your words matter in the eyes of others looking to recycle a device!

If this is something you would be interested the link will be: https://uk.trustpilot.com/evaluate/uberlink.co.uk. Once you have completed it if you could provide a screenshot and confirmation I can uplift the price to £705, I can have that full payment issued within 24 hours!
Looking at Trustpilot.....you can already see someone who has taken the bait!

Yeah its losing quite a bit of build up not having it…. Does‘nt feel the same as it used to.
Someone got into trouble with the moderators here (not sure if it was an account suspension, or blocked) for creating a UK thread for the new model before it was announced last year - So most people who used to post here are in the UK Discord forum.
I wonder if this post will survive ?

Anyone umming and ahing between the pro and pro max this year?

The 15 is the first PM Is the first pro phone I’ve had. I had the 14 plus before and I like the battery life of the max versions. But the usability of the standard pro would be good too.

I normally have around 20% battery left when the 15 PM goes on charge of a night (normally around 12:30). Take it off charge around 8:30 so it’s nice not to have to worry about battery. But one handed usability would also be nice.

I had the 15 pro, came from a 13 PM. Loved everything about the pro size but the battery needed a top up every evening. I’m seriously considering the PM this year, wont be as ‘pocketable’ as the pro but the extra battery wouldn’t go a miss.

Yeah that’s kind of what’s stopping me. I’m so used to the massive battery now.

😂😂 I wish I got two days. But I’m still happy to get through the day with no battery worried.

I sold my Max and am currently using a regular 15. I have to say I love the size and don't see that much difference. The regular size is perfectly acceptable and usable. I myself, will still be getting the Max do to my aging eyesight!

yep 256 has been fine the last few years.. I find doing a fresh install each year cleans out a lot of stuff for me

I’ve always thought of a fresh install but just go with transfer from other iPhone.

I mean, how do you go about it? Install apps as and when you use them? Any problems logging in? Just use passwords from iCloud?

never had any issue... all my passwords are saved to keychain/iCloud. I just redownload the ones I need and log back in again.

all iCloud data remains the same... photos, message in iCloud etc.

I do a clean install too every time i get a new phone. Download all the iCloud data (calendar, photos, imessages etc) but do the apps from scratch. Weeds out the rubbish ones i never used. Also makes it feel new lol

Anyone who's been on the iPhone upgrade programme; Do you order on the Friday then go into store the following Friday to pick up?

think that's what will stick with. I have 136GB left and that with 26GB of tv purchases.
Also, if I get on the upgrade programme, 256 will be fine. I think if I was thinking of keeping the phone for more than 2 years I'd go for the 512. Having said that.....Since iPhone 3 I have NEVER got close to 200GB!!! 🤣
