I’m all set up and ready to go!!!

Had a nightmare last year when I couldn’t get onto the website for about 10 minutes – and then my work laptop crashed, and my phone crashed too. I managed to get in using my MacBook, but my pre-saved info wasn’t there. Thankfully, I still managed to check out and got my phone the following week.

I can’t bear to go through that drama again, but I’m prepared just in case!

Tinkerbellaa22 - I had the same issue (i think a lot of people did) - it’s hard to know how apple runs any “queuing process” but it was the most frustrating last year for me. I ended up unable to do pick up as they’d all gone before I even got past the ”almost ready” page.

Well I did 2 years ago for my 14 Pro, was roughly the same price as SIMO + Phone outright.

20% isn't available anymore from what I can see. It's now 10%.

If that's the case its unlikely I will upgrade with EE and move to a competitor.

That said, I think it’s easier to get launch day delivery than it used to be.

I've been doing it almost every year since my first iPhone - iPhone 4. It's definitely got easier in the last few years. Improvements in computer power (server farms) meaning the Apple systems don't crash and freeze and need constant retries to get orders confirms really helps. One year I inadvertently placed 3 orders because the first 2 went through but the systems froze prior to confirmation so I didn't know they'd been accepted. (I obviously just cancelled the 2 I didn't need.)
