Is it tracking though? If you cannot track it then it’s stuck in system.
Yeah I can track it. Obviously it hasn’t been dispatched yet but I don’t expect that to show until Thursday!

Vodafone advised me that for the first time 5G SA or what Vodafone term as 5G ultra will be supported on iOS but only the iPhone 16 range! I’m surprised how quiet this has been as up to now UK networks have only supported Android devices for 5G SA. I asked about the iPhone 15 range and other ios devices and they said no.
Which makes no sense since SA is supported on current models in other countries.

The technical team advised me it’s a hardware issue with iOS devices. Although 5G is its infancy Apple users with an iphone 15 and older won’t have access to this technology!

5G Stand Alone is available from EE on iPhone 15 as long as you have a plan that supports it….. and are in a 5G SA.

The 5G SA plans were launched at the end of August.

I have it on my 15PM

First time buying an iPhone on launch day. I chose to collect from the Apple Store on Friday but I’ve realised now that I can’t be there at the time slot I chose. Spoken to Apple and they can’t change the slot. Does anyone have any experience with showing up around an hour earlier than the slot in previous years? Do you think I’d still be able to get it or will I have to wait? Thanks.
They hold the phone until you can turn up.

I think it’s for a week.

All EE deals are bad tbh unless they honour the 1 year upgrade commitment. Ive been upgrading every year with them since T Mobile era but this year decided to pay my 15 Pro 256 GB contracts off and move to sim only with my 50% off F&F rolled over on both lines.

My early upgrade fee with 1 year left was significantly low. I paid £372 and £383 for my contracts which enabled me to keep the devices. Sold one iPhone on ebay for £765 and most likely keep the other one as burner for next year. It was no brainer for me as there will be no upgrade plans offered going forward and it was right to get out this cycle especially with pay off fee so low. And if that changes next year im free to upgrade with no fee next year instead of forking out to pay off significantly high fee which is what you all have to do now.

I think it was bad move by EE to split Device and Airtime plans. And if you look closely they are charging £100 extra over retail price.

I only do Pros now since downgrading from 13 Pro Max. Got two 15 Pro 256 GB directly via Apple for £55.74 pcm each including 2 year AC+ Theft & Loss. And sim deal with EE for £18 pcm with perks etc which can carry on beyond its term time lol. Ill pay off the device finance next year approx. £549.48 each (covered by resale) and then start again with new iPhone

Did tie with the idea of looking at EE to see what the difference was between buying outright and a contract 🤣

£106/pm full price is an absolute rip off. This will be my last contract, i’ll go direct to Apple and sim only in 2 years.

What? That's 2.5k over 2 years, the phone im getting is 1.2k and a tenner a month on SIM only ..........

From memory it’s usually the Tuesday

Wednesday

Still managed to snag an iPhone 16 Pro for release day pick-up at the Metrocentre, despite being a day late to the pre-order train. Very surprised about that but happy!
Yeah, that wouldn’t happen in the past. I don’t think to mind is as high has been.
There’s not a lot for people to upgrade to unless your phone is three or four years old

EE question. Contract started 22/09/2023 (pre ordered iPhone 15 PM for release date).

1 year hits 21/09/2024. Pre-ordered iPhone 16 PM delivering 20/09/2024.

Apparently because I’ve upgraded 1 day before the 1 year is up, there’s a £100 upgrade fee… surely this will be wavered???
Was waived for me over the phone. Give them a call

I know it’s not order related but has anyone used or heard about Phonebox for selling their phone? Seem like they have good ratings on Trustpilot but to be honest I dont trust Trustpilot 🤔😂

Not heard of them, but TrustPilot sometimes can be good for a gauge, and you can usually spot fake reviews a mile off.. and none of there reviews jumps out as been fake

I do wonder if they are the rebranded Spring...

I’m raging, that means it’s gonna be mid October now….

Did it ever go on hold? I wonder if the credit card company declined or flagged the payment for fraud. Happens a lot but you are usually informed and can take action to correct it in time. I think only Apple would be able to tell you what happened.

No didn’t get put on hold or anything, I’ve had in past years where order has been put on hold due to card expired etc

That’s what I thought but then the paranoia of sending it off and then getting offered a heavily discounted price started playing in my mind 🙄 really should stop leaving it to the last minute to send away to give myself time to send elsewhere 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

My order for the Series 10 Watch 46mm and 16 Pro Max 256GB Black, due to be collected Friday morning and paid via Apple account balance, can't be cancelled anymore. Just an fyi, looks like there's more movement on orders this morning.

I hope you get to the bottom of it If you are close to an Apple Store the suggestion from Tiago L is a good one. The Glasgow store still has a lot of 16 Pro’s in the higher capacities in most colours. Worth a shot for sure!!!
