Currently have 7+ 128gb Black

I must say I am really disapointed this year in apples releases

The 8 is basically a 7s with not much difference at all and the X just isnt up there for me to fork out £1000

Usually very excited this time of year for a new phone but its a complete let down for me this year anyone agree :(:(

Lloyds haven’t updated their app but since my post the other night it seems to be behaving itself.

Weirdly I updated a couple of apps and they downloaded/installed absolutely fine.

Woke up the next morning... and they were the same version number but had to update them again!

There’s an inevitable lull following the keynote and knowing there’s a long wait before you can order the X. The buzz of the 8 has been over shadowed by the X.

4 more weeks to go

The anker wireless charger is an Amazon lightning deal at 09.20 today. Not sure what price it'll be.

A standard iPad adapter would work wouldn’t it?

Don’t see why not. As long as the wall adapter delivers 10w (iPad is 12w) it should be fine.

I assume the anker comes with the cables? As it seems this is usb-c. If there was no cable then you would need a usb a (to go in the iPad block) to usb-c for the anker

It should yeah just wanted to point it out in case anyone missed it.
Yeah definitely, thanks.

Yeah it has a USB-C to USB-A with it

Nice find though. I’m going to hold out and see how eye watering the air power will be. Given I’ve just invested in a series 3 watch I like the idea of a single mat to charge everything at once

I've been using a USB-C to lightning cable plugged into my 2016 MacBook Pro charger and it's rapid. My iPad and iPhone will both charge extremely fast.

If the Anker QI charger is limited to 10W you'll be able to use a 12W iPad charger fine. :)

Be interesting when it actually will be available next year. Hoping early part of next year.

I have 2 wireless chargers at home collecting dust so may use these in the meantime and decide if I want to get some fast wireless chargers in the near future.

I have an anker charger hub with 6 ports two are QI compaitble if i just plug the wireless pad the one above that was on amazon lightening deal 10w into one of those QI compatible port will that work at 10w ? hope i've made sense lol

“With 6 ports two are QI compatible”

The ports themselves wouldn’t be QI given that it is a wireless charging standard. You would need to see what the output power delivery is from those ports as I assume you’d connect a wireless charging pad to one of them.

Just ordered an 8 Plus 256gb on EE through affordablemobile. I have a line on EE for my 6 which I'll cancel now. They said they have stock and I'll have it tomorrow. I finally decided on the 8 because I think the battery life will be a bit better than the X and the usable screen area will be bigger. Also, cheaper and my 6 is on it's last legs (about 60% of factory battery capacity).

on the ports themselves it does say QI so assume the power supply should be enough to charge at QI otherwise thats false advertising by anker isn't it ? apologies if i'm misunderstanding something obvious lol

edit so QI doesn't mean fast charging i thought all QI meant fast charging hmmmm not sure how i find out what the output is ?

Are you sure it doesn’t say “IQ” on the charger?

yes sorry it does lol what does that mean ? i now have two fast chargers one bought previously which is a fast charge stand up similar to one posted before and now the anker 10w that was on a lightening deal today ? can i use the multiple anker charger i mentioned to charge either at QI results ? sorry for the questions and apologies for the confusion.

What do you guys think about the storage capacity in the new iPhone X? I'm thinking about the upgrade to iPhone X 64GB cos I usually use my iCloud to store my files. I have iPhone 6s Plus and I use 41.3GB from 64GB, mostly because of apps.

I would love to buy the 256GB but is it worth the money?

The £999 is a lot enough. Another £150 is just too much.
