Because your trying both hopefully one of them will work for you, I did look at cases but decided to hold off until nearer the time, paying for amazon prime so getting it next day or same day means no rush for me.

Because your trying both hopefully one of them will work for you, I did look at cases but decided to hold off until nearer the time, paying for amazon prime so getting it next day or same day means no rush for me.
Yeah i’m Only getting the one for now. On prime too so mine will arrive tomorrow. The case i’ve Ordered is the one i’ve Pretty much rocked with on my 7 plus so may not even need more than one more.
So we all know that to stand any chance of getting an X on or near to launch you will need to order within minutes (if not seconds) of 8am on 27th.......
I will be ordering 2 handsets - a grey for me and a silver for the Mrs.
Am debating though whether to order both at same time - which would take the extra few seconds to do, or....
Order mine first (because I’m selfish lol) and then order my wife’s immediately after.
What you guys think?

I don’t use Lloyds, but I notice the First Direct app has been vanishing and reappearing.
I’ve had no issues with it myself, but my wife did and was told to delete the app and reinstall, only to find it wasn’t there.
Then it appeared again on Monday and vanished again until yesterday.

The X’s FaceID will automatically be supported on any app that uses TouchID according to the white paper Apple have just published!
My wife didnt have a problem with the app as such.
It was when she phoned to reset her token, they told her to delete app and re install from App Store.
That’s when we discovered it wasn’t there!

The App has just been updated so maybe that had something to do with it.
One good thing about everyone waiting for the X is that iOS 11.1/2 should be out by then with all the major bugs fixed and hopefully better battery life as well due to it being OLED.
It’s been removed and added at least twice in the last few days as far as I can tell.
I use Lloyds on my 8 and it is a bit hit and miss logging in. Sometimes it works fine, and then every now and again it shuts down. It works straight away when I open it back up
I tried living with my son's old moto G. Made it as far as the keynote but after seeing the late date for the X I gave up and bought a used 6s to hold me over. Especially if I'm waiting until Dec/Jan for stock.. Couldn't do a 5c.
After never dropping my still immaculate 6s for 2 years and deciding I didn't need a new phone at all especially one costing £1000...... I accidentally took a dip in a pool on Holiday with it in my pocket!! Gutted!!!....yesterday would have been its 2nd Birthday too!
Luckily I was in the US at the time and managed to pick up a 64GB 8 in Silver on launch day from the Apple Store for a bargain £550 and Contents Insurance will pretty much cover the cost of it!.....plus no stupid CE and Regulatory etchings on the back!!
Only slight negative is i'm now beginning to wish i'd bought the black version instead as I miss the all black face

I think you should pull straws for whose phone is ordered first. Then again if it were me and I was ordering for my hubby as well I would prob ordered mine first because I would be doing him a favour (and I'm much more gadget/Apple obsessed than him!)
When i was ordering my s3 Apple Watch for launch day I ordered a 38mm and a 42mm and did it simultaneously on my iPad and iPhone as two separate orders. I only really ordered them separately because I thought I would get an opportunity to try out the sizes within 24 hours and have time to cancel the size I didn't want. As it was I ballsed one of the order up and the 42mm slipped to a later delivery date and then I decided I did't like the colour so cancelled it anyway!
I wasn't in rush to upgrade but had to as I got an Apple Watch so had to upgrade to be able to pair. Having some issues making calls whilst connected the wifi (also watch may be causing issues). Have had this before from time to time but much worse currently!
Do the 7 plus protectors fit okay? I might have a spare unused one kicking about from last year. Think there was a code on here to get this one dicounred

That’s my 'choice' if I sell my 7plus but I think I’m going to just accept that I’ll get less and keep the 7plus going for now! Can’t bear the thought of going back to 5c!!
I’m looking forward to the iPhone X, I will pre-order on the 27th and hopefully after that we won’t have to wait too long before they arrive!
Yeah me. Love my 7 Plus and think the X is a gamble but couldn’t stand all those with the X when it comes out and me missing out! I’m sure it’ll be worth it.
