Might as well go OT til 27th and gave some more watch talk!

I know what you mean. I swapped out my 38mm gold aluminium with pink sand sport loop for a 42mm SSSB with Milanese loop strap on Friday (same asct2k7 of above). But I don't like that style either and still not sure if the Apple Watch is as you say a 'can't live without' item for me yet either. I didn't wear it yesterday or today though partly that was because am already resolved to return it and wait for the silver stainless steel with white sport band and don't want to damage or lose.

Then sometimes I think should I forget the X , keep my 7+and treat myself to a Hermes edition. I think they look so smart and have lovely faces. And then I tell myself to behave!

So my turn to be undecided but ultimately unless I find one that I r ally like the look of on my wrist then I probably won't commit/keep!

It does make the screen look bigger and oddly I think that is one of the reasons I am not so keen! I don't generally buy the whole male v female size and styles on Apple products but I think the 42mm SSSB would suit a guy better.

I was not bothered about the red dot but it looked horrible on the sand pink gold and I don't like it against the SSSB Milanese strap either.

Apple are one clever lot. They knew all the people waiting for the X will not be able to get through 6 weeks of anticipation without buying more Apple goodies!

Try the SB with a regular black sport band, I find it looks a lot more ‘every day’ whereas the Milanese adds more formality to it.

Am tempted to pick up the Milanese (as the link bracelet is silly money) for more formal wear.

Also keen on the black/volt sport band for more casual wear too and the leather loops looks the business too

Won’t mention the dark olive sport band to go with the similar colour silicone case I want to get for the X. Matching black face surround by the dark olive look ( even though the phone will be the silver)

Good to know I can save a whopping £4.60 off the £49 straps with my company discount scheme

Question...... if wanting to do Apple payments plan (not upgrade program) - how do you go about reserving using app? Can only see a link to reserve on upgrade program and assume if just do a normal reserve for collection it will charge my card full amount??

Can someone recommend me a wireless charger please?

I know there’s some in the thread but it’s a big ass thread and it’s taking me a while to go through it.

Anker or the belkin or the Samsung ones... any Qi charger

What makes you think it will arrive on other networks in 6 months time?

EE exclusivity, depends if networks wants to jump on it fast but we might have to wait longer.

I would hope that after 6 months the others can support it, I’d rather not have another 2 year exclusivity... I was fed up with O2 back then

The limiting factor is that no other carrier in the UK apart from EE has the infrastructure to support the sharing of a mobile number. I’d highly doubt 6 months is enough time to roll out the changes needed across the network to support this; that’s if there was any appetite to even do so. The watch is not the ‘must have’ gadget that everyone is after, the carriers won’t be in any rush

Correct assumption. I would reserve under the IUP and when you go to collect say you want to do under the IPP rather than IUP.

Looks like I'll be popping in to see the iPhone X launch madness but won't be participating this year round!

Decided there's nout wrong with my 7 Plus at the moment, and I'm cautious of the screen's usable space being smaller (and narrower) than my current phone.

Opted to get an iMac instead, do we have a UK shipping thread for those? :p

From what I have read the LTE version of the iWatch is not worth bothering with for the extra outlay.
That’s a bit of a silly thing to say.

The 4G connectivity will always be subjective, as not everyone will want/need the extra features.

Apple are super smart and will have done their homework on this, they must feel there’s a market for a 4G Watch.

For me personally, I don’t want/need the extra features (at least not at an extra monthly cost), plus, I think I’d just feel naked going out without my phone! :D

It's very buggy and limited to 1 carrier that's my approach for saying it's not worth it right now but thats my own opinion.

That’s fair enough (I’m not sure what you mean by it being “buggy”).

I’m on Vodafone (60% off through Friends & Family) and Vodafone supported it, would I get a 4G model? Probably, yes.

Me too with educational discount :)

I think I'll wait for the silver ss. I think I would probably like the black SS Milanese in 38mm as I did like the strap.

My perfect shade would be the old gold colour with the midnight blue strap that was available in the s2 range.

Reserve as if you are doing the upgrade programme that way no payment is taken in advance.

For some including me it (LTE) has been the reason I have purchased my first Apple Watch.

I am going to use the 20% unidays discount once I have got my X as my sim only contract is eligible for renewal at the end of the month. Wonder if it will give 20% of the £5 per month Apple Watch LTE functionality when the free period ends.

It has that weird connect to a wifi but disable 4g bug which is going to be fixed in a future release and thats an insane discount, wish I knew someone at Vodafone lol.

it seems like it is on everything other than the max plan that allows for annual upgrades. That's why i went for the 25gb rather than the 100gb that I would have preferred.

If the contracts on EE could match Vodafone I would consider moving to them but for me it would work out even more expensive to switch and I think I would lose more than I would gain.

you couldnt pay me to go back to vodafone. Paying a little bit more for EE or three is a no brainer for me

Been with them for a couple of years now and had no problems really, was with EE and used to get amazingly fast 4G speeds of 1mbit at home compared to 50mbit plus on Vodafone.
