for me its fine, is it showing now?

If I click the 'manage reservation' on my iPhone it defaults to the apple store app and shows the reservation there.
I'm pretty sure it's fine!

It is working! I'm a fool, I was logging onto apple.com with my .me email address, but i ordered using my apple ID which is a Gmail email address! All good! Can't wait for next friday!

It seems a long way away. This time last week, today seemed a long way away too!

I would have found trying that on all devices very difficult, Especially force closing and re opening, One Device obviously quicker.
iMac and MacBook, both refreshing the store and the reservation page every three seconds automatically using a Safari extension (which is how I got a reservation in at 08:01).

Manually quitting the app on my iPhone.

And an iPad with the store left open, no quitting.

Quite manageable.

I had an iPhone 7, iPhone 6, MacBook and PC all open. I got into the Apple Store app on the iPhone 7 and ordered the X way before any of the others would even load.
Ah right, I had my MacBook refreshing too and loaded at 08:08 also. Anyway all done now... Xbox One X on the 7th also. Good month ahead

So now that we’ve got our iPhones, anyone got any specific screen protectors they’re gonna order or are you gonna use it without one? What about covers as well?
 
After my fuss this morning of securing a November 3rd delivery, getting the unwarranted Apple Pay declines, the Apple rep cancelling my order (!!) and being sent to the back of the Queue, I decided to ring them back and see what could be done. The rep agreed that the previous rep was wrong and apologized.

Sure enough, even though my launch day order is cancelled, they have put in a request for reactivation, which means I may well be able to jump back into the line with my original order. Fingers crossed!
 
Really fed up with the Apple ordering process. If they’re going to stagger orders at least have the common decency to tell us! I had four sources to attempt and the earliest one let me in at 8.08 once I'd taken my phone off wi-fi for some reason!
Apple one delivers 13th to 20th November
Back up CPW sim free one allegedly next Friday but realistically I expect it to be 'unavoidably delayed' so I’ll cancel! Can’t believe I'm even contemplating them!

You can't actually add them to the basket though. Just puts you in a loop..
 
I was up at 2:55am and set up to go at 2:59. Apple App didn’t load til about 3:06. Was on my way to ordering my phone right then and got stuck on the AT&T carrier settings page. Got a pop up that “we have a phone for you!” In my panic of not getting through I started over again on the Apple website on my iPad. Got through this time with a delivery of November 17-24. I was a little upset. Woke up to an email to complete my reservation with a November 3 delivery! Yay. Just have two questions, I did the reservation order using the second number/line on my account because it said my number already had an order, true, I couldn’t cancel fast enough and didn’t want to risk canceling first and getting pushed back to December. Can I switch it to my number when it comes? Also the later shipping phone came with the white base and Nov 3 phone has the black charging base. Can you return the base? I want the white one.

I finally got in at 0809, attempting on 3 devices and 2 connections.

Nov 13-20, 256gb Space Grey. Pretty happy with that considering I expected it'd be months.

Personally I think we have been sold 'Apple marketing hype with the short supply message' until next year.

what safari extension is it? can't seem to find any good ones, use that type of extension a lot

Quite possibly! It's hard to gauge whether it's that, or a complete misjudgment of demand for a very expensive phone.

Regardless, glad it's coming fairly soon. Had it lingered on till Jan or Feb, prob would have cancelled as really it's an X Plus phone that I truly want.
 
jesus, finally sorted. i rang apple they confirmed the apple pay thing. then they went to manually put details in but as it had been hit so many times my card was blocked. had to ring the bank they unblocked. then i had to que again on apple. finally sorted though. been trying since 9am.
