Nationwide FlexPlus insurance only covers up to £1k.

Does anyone know what the likely scenario is if you lost your 256GB iPhone X or broke it... would they refuse the pay out at all as the value is over £1k, or just pay out up to the £1k max?

Tried to read through the documentation but it doesn't state anything.

I used it over a year ago in a restaurant for a 60 quid bill, was surprised it worked (first time I'd really used it as i'd forgotten my wallet - have used it almost constantly since then).
But i've had it fail to work over 30 when trying to pay in Tesco.
Seems the limit is set by the retailer now, not the bank
 
Anyone getting a new contract or upgrade from o2? My order status just show "in progress" but no delivery date.

Sadly won't know if stores are getting stock until a day or so before launch but cab keep an eye out.

Wish I could give a solid answer on this. Computer says 3rd for silver but out internal availability list shows a blank space while SG shows 10th on everything so I would say the SG is accurate

Edit: just checked when I got into work and now the silver is showing internally as 3rd. Going by past launches this is usually pretty accurate

Mrs GF has a pickup in-store on Friday morning. Mine's on a 2-3 week delivery.
I'm *very* tempted to line up at the Leeds Apple Store on Thursday night... Never done it before, don't know what to expect. Crazy idea? Thoughts?

It’s more complex than that as Apple don’t have a limit on their side, yet payments fail.

You’ve the normal £30 limit for contactless which is retailer dependant, then there’s some unknown limit for some banks when processing high transactions.

My phone and case were purchased in 2 separate transactions and seemed successful.

I later found the phone payment had failed (but there was no fraud block) and yet the £49 case had been successful.

Carphone Warehouse is staying on its website when I checked earlier you can still get some IPX models through them for November 3rd.

I have done it before and it is a good laugh. Lots of friendly banter and Apple support,y the donuts and coffee around 7am

They tried with me. Check the Terms. Most only have to be similar functionality. Could end up with a Windows phone !!!!

If you click sim free it says it isn't available. That date appears to be for contracts.

Just putting it out there again.. if anyone has pre ordered the iPhone through vodafone UK, do you have any updates on delivery as we all know their tracker is broken
