I certainly hope they have plenty of stock when you can pre order them. Would like it by December for my holiday.

I have no real preference on colour as it'll be in a case and look the same from the front. Out of one, I prefer the look of the silver.

All the UK prices are straight dollar conversions which is a bit naughty as the exchange rate is the same as it was this time last year.

Just seen the prices on apple's website. Who would pay £1149 for a phone? That's disgusting.

iPhone 8 plus 256Gb same price a month as the iPhone 7 plus 256GB.


Wonder if all the features on the iPhone x will be added to the new phone next year?

Really disappointed, only 2 memory size is absolute nonsense. Price for the 10 is crazy, Face ID FAILE on stage, and it doesn't seem as fast as Touch ID.
On the other hand, 8 seems a pretty useless upgrade from 7. I really might skip this year upgrade...

I was excited before the event, more excited after I saw the iPhone X and since I saw the pricing of both in the UK I am massively deflated.

I think Apple has seriously ****** up with this set of iPhones.

Even the "affordable" ones are way overpriced and massively overshadowed by the iPhone X. I think the only reason they have raised the price of the 8 is so that next year they can release 2 phones based on the X with minimal price difference to this years 8.
