I'm either gonna keep my 7 plus until the Apple monthly payments end next year and get the 8 or whatever new phone comes out next year or I upgrade to the 8 on my monthly upgrade then now.

The exchange rate is not exactly 1 to 1 surely those storage prices are wrong!!!!

All the UK prices are straight dollar conversions which is a bit naughty as the exchange rate is the same as it was this time last year.

Apple have been taking the biscuit with prices since brexit.

It seems to have become a growing trend for them to slowly screw over the UK more and more by the year. :/

The conversions were getting gradually more uneven after each product reveal, and now seems to have hit this point of merely changing the dollar sign to a pound sign on their pricing sheets. It's rather poor form really.

64GB isn't enough for me so I'm out because £1149 is utterly disgusting and no fanboy can defend that.

The 8+ is very heavy too, it's over 200g. For reference the X is 174, 7+ was 188 and 6s+ was 192.

The Note 8 is 195 and people in reviews have been suggesting that that was quite hefty!

At those prices though, it's clear why the 6S is still around!

You have to add 20% VAT but they are still taking the piss. $999 is £902 at todays rate including the VAT.

I'm pretty annoyed about the iPhone X pricing in the UK at £999 for 64 ******* GB. Then I looked at the prices for the 8 and I got really mad. Apple truly are taking the absolute piss. I thought they might reduce the price of the 8 slightly if anything but no, they have increased it by ~£100

I'm afraid, as I posted yesterday, I saw this coming.

Apple have form for taking the piss but we let them get away with it.

Breaking the £1,000 barrier for a mobile phone really does take your breath away. Shafted!

I wonder how much this has changed peoples plans to upgrade. I don't think anyone saw the iPhone 8 increasing by 10% and I don't think many of us genuinely though the X would come with only 64gb for £1000
