So it’s my birthday in 7 minutes, and I just checked my order.... bumped up to get delivered tomorrow vs 10th.

I could not be happier!!!!!

I have a quick question. Will DPD only deliver the phone to recipient? I live in a student accommondation so I am not sure if they are able to leave it to reception. I am afraid if they wont see me so they will drop a card. Anyone experiences that?

I have 2 phones ordered, 1 minute apart, same model. Interestingly it’s from 2 different couriers. I’m also dropping my parents off to the airport early morning and probably won’t be back at home till 9ish, so hopefully they’re not too early. I remember one year I had to wait in till 4pm, and my dads EE one had arrived at 9am. That was torture. I can’t believe I’ve been doing this for 10 years now.

Just weird I preordered 7:44 AM before most on here so realistically I should be guaranteed friday, but nope.

I had a similar experience with EE… all I got was a rude manager on the phone saying that I'm lucky.
Good will goes a long way. I didn't expect someone to threaten me instead.

I’m in the exact same situation and I’m glad to say they’ll deliver to your university postroom/reception

I had my 7 Plus delivered like that last year- the delivery drivers are usually very familiar with how University accommodation works

Each store will have some stock for walk in buyers (queuing) I'd imagine.

What's the policy on unclaimed pickups? Do they cancel if you fail to collect by the end of the day or by a certain period of time after the scheduled time slot?
