Thanks for the Argos heads up guys. Just ordered a 64GB Space Grey for delivery tomorrow morning. Like others on here, I also have have an order with Apple which is still showing ‘Processing Items’ for delivery 13th - 20th. I am reluctant to cancel the Apple order until I have the Argos order in my hand. Just watch though, Sod’s law suggests that all of our ‘13th - 20th’ orders will finally ‘bump’ this morning & be too late to cancel!

Same boat as you - just my phone will be the 256GB! Fingers crossed for the newly assembled Argos Crew in here!

Can i just ask why people are ‘upgrading’ their orders for delivery before 10.30am?

What is the point exactly. Your original order may be scheduled before this time (you will find out when in the morning) - you are effecively flushing £10 down the toilet. Bizarre.

The reason I upgraded my delivery is because 1 nobodies home in the afternoon & 2 nearly all my DPD delivery’s normally are between 15-1700 in the afternoon and I don’t want to wait that long

The more that their phones go out of stock, the more than I am confident we’ll all get our phones from Argos.. at least we’re not being baited by endless X supplies at Argos!

We all trust Apple to deliver when they say.. I’m just hoping Argos can stick to tomorrow! I have an Apple order for 13-20 November, I’ll keep a close eye on the Argos order today!

Hard to say, but I'm fairly confident as Argos only started taking orders today, and they're slowly going out of stock. I'll cancel my 13/20 once I have it in hand.

I’m not as confident as you! Basically as soon as Argos send a dispatch email later I will cancel by Apple order but not until then!

Just ordered Argos 256GB Silver with delivery tomorrow. Here’s hoping! Not cancelling 13-20 Nov until it’s delivered!

Holy moly. I ordered my iPhone X on Wednesday afternoon from Vodafone and I just woke up to an email with DPD tracking for delivery today!! And I'm not going to be in and I don't have neighbours as I'm on a new build estate.

Don’t worry it’ll update before too long, it’ll still get there today. I have that problem anytime UK mail deliver my iPhones.

Seems to be ok for iCloud restore but iTunes you have to set up as new iPhone, updates then restore
