This is why I decided to stop getting phones from carriers last year.Let down by EE again, called the store just now to be told mines not going to be arriving today... they do this every year and tbh it’s a bit of a joke...

Quick question: what happens to your old iPhone when you take the sim out? Can you still use it, sort of like a glorified iPod Touch?

After last years shamble of a launch for the 7 with EE where I ended up waiting over a month I shouldn’t have trusted 5em tbh...

Is what it is I guess, I’ll most likely have to reorder as EE only hold the phone for 5 days but I’m away for work in London and then Manchester for the next two weeks so my handset will be release for general sale before I get back up north to Newcastle to collect it.
Yeah at least Apple get it the right way around, people would much rather find their preorder move frorward rather than how the carriers do it...
I’ll still have to visit the EE store today as I’ve been sent a 38mm Apple Watch Series 3 rather than a 42mm and I also need to find out if I can use this without an iPhone as I won’t have one until I get my hands on an X.

Hey dude dunno if you seen but I kept the faith with Vodafone and they came through. Ordered Wednesday, got an email at 5am this morning with tracking info for delivery today! :O
Vodafone seem to have been pretty reliable this year!
