EE Apple Watch owners, after the mess that was initially setting up any news on the best way to transfer the watch to our new X’s? When unpairing do we keep the plan when t asks or remove it?

No information on the tracking, no delivery slot, nothing other than it was at the depot in the early hours.

I feel like I’ve just cheated on Apple with JL

me too, but the JL added care is so much better value than applecare. I've managed to break my iphone 6 twice in the last year, fixing the X is going to be exhorbitant without some kind of insurance in place.

Yeah you'll need to unpair the watch and pair it back to the X, then restore from backup.

After the JL website and App crapping out and about 100 attempts I’ve managed to get an order placed, for collection tomorrow. Yay!

No, so a few days back the site had a glitch and it allowed you to add it to basket but obviously not check out. So I favourited it and left it in my basket ready for this morning. Had the app open all night so when I Touch ID’d this morning the basket was the first screen. Pressed check out all my deets were already there etc paid via PayPal, done I always collect from Waitrose as there’s no JL in my town

Does anyone know the best way to get my watch onto my new phone without losing today’s progress? The instructions are actually not clear as to which stage I unpair the watch.

Do I:
1-Unpair the watch; 2-back up the phone, 3-restore new phone from backup 4-pair watch from backup?

I might do a complimentary phone back up before unpairing too.

Unpair then backup as unpairing forces the watch to create a backup on the phone, then backing up the phone will back up both the watch and the phone then just restore the phone and then repair the watch.

So gave up on idea

JL never worked and now it’s out of stock so I suppose I have to wait for Apple to post mine in 3 weeks now.....

Did you order from Apple Store Online? Also where is your local Depot - I'm waiting for my one in Dunstable to update. Still sitting at local depot :-(
