EE Apple Watch owners, after the mess that was initially setting up any news on the best way to transfer the watch to our new X’s? When unpairing do we keep the plan when t asks or remove it?
there is no need to unpair anymore, you get an option in Apple Watch to pair existing watch. Takes about 10 minutes to pair it.

Interestingly the second phone I ordered a minute later is being delivered by UK Mail and I have a delivery time between 12:15-13:15...but DPD delivery is still in Croydon depot

That’s right as you’ve said.
1. Unpair Watch which then creates a backup of your watch and saves it on you iPhone.
2. Backup your iPhone
3. Restore iPhone from backup
4. Pair Watch with new iPhone and choose restore from backup.

Thanks, that all sounds logical when put in numerical steps ;-)

Unpair then backup as unpairing forces the watch to create a backup on the phone, then backing up the phone will back up both the watch and the phone then just restore the phone and then repair the watch.
no need you can now pair to an existing watch in the Watch App

Had one in my basket at Argos but was wary or going for it, just because its Argos and the fact someone started talking to me about work stuff!

Ah yeh. I had forgotten about that.

If I’m honest though, I feel a bit dirty buying from a non-Apple retailer. A bit like I’ve bought own brand baked beans....

THERE’S NOWT WRONG WIT ALDI BAKED BEANS SON

On my way to Covent Garden for pickup...managed to get a saddle brown case reserved too!
