That’s right as you’ve said.
1. Unpair Watch which then creates a backup of your watch and saves it on you iPhone.
2. Backup your iPhone
3. Restore iPhone from backup
4. Pair Watch with new iPhone and choose restore from backup.

Which depot? I’m also waiting up in Leeds. Usual get a notification between 9:30 and 9:45 on last couple of deliveries and came within the hour so there’s still hope

Pretty much what I did (apart from PayPal) the first thing that screwed me over was that it defaulted to the local Waitrose where I’d had something delivered previously. On trying to change it, the site crashed.

As I said earlier, that isn’t 7nusual for DPD.

Their track8ng system is quite good, but it does seem to reply on scanning or data entry that doesn’t have to be done in real time. It seems to then be down to how individual depots deal with things.

They should scan something to say that they have received the items at the depot, but some (like my local office) seem to do it all at the end , I assume 9nce 5he rush has died down.

As a result, it appears to take over 12 hours to get the 70 miles from Hinckley to my local depot and then they receive and sort it to go out for delivery in a couple of minutes.

Happens all the time here.

Same.

You could still add it to your basket by adding them to your wishlist and then into the basket from there. App crashed repeatedly on payment screen for me.
 
Argos has literally been my saviour twice! Once with the PS4 back in 2013 and now with the iPhone X! However, a bit sceptical on whether they'll deliver tomorrow but tweeted them to see whether it is confirmed. Just wondering whether I should cancel the iPhone X from Apple or leave it until I get the dispatch email?

That is what I tried, but it crashed for me

I did the same, got stuck then crashed on the processing payment screen. Still not entirely sure if it went through, which is funny because I could now possibly have THREE incoming, one from Argos tomorrow, one from Apple Nov 13-20 and a possible JL collection, ha!
 
Paul delivering both mine between 12:26-13:26. Perfect. Can pop into town for my store collection this morning

No need to cancel Apple till Argos order is in hand :)

Managed to order 256GB Silver from Argos for delivery on Monday. Came into work this morning and was asked if I wanted to go to Krakow for 2 weeks, which is when my Apple order is due so naturally I had to get one before I go over :D
