Spent ages trying to order with John Lewis this morning but site kept crashing.
Managed to order with Argos instead for delivery tomorrow, but had the email a short while ago and phoned them to cancel. They are blaming Apple, stating they didn't receive as many today as they were promised etc etc. 72 hours for a refund!

Just managed to get back on to John Lewis a few minutes ago and place an order for delivery tomorrow... Based on what's happened I'm dubious but fingers crossed they deliver.

well they've dispatched my order from this morning so I'd say you'll get it if they have stock and you get your order in

Will work out if it bothers me or not.

And Face ID is noticeably slower than Touch ID for those who notice millisecond time differences. Prob won’t bother most people.

It's only yellow with poor indoor lighting. I found it worked well outside in the light.
 
my other annoyance is wishing it would unlock as soon as Face ID is recognised, I know this would disrupt notifications but I think it should be an option. Just too slow for the process overall to have to swipe up IMO

Just turn off True Tone display if it bothers you. I have

You are swiping up Before it unlocks right? As you don’t need to wait for it before swiping.

I am but it just says Face ID and then takes another little while to then open. But my point is that I Ould like to not have to swipe at all, personally

That is a disgrace!, but don't get too excited re interest
All that interest would not even pay for 1 iPhone x
 
The HSBC making app is garbage. Every time I get a new phone the digital secure doesn't work and you have to waste time phoning them up to reset it. Pure garbage.

I would order one delivered to work from JL but I'm working tomorrow and my work closes early on a Saturday and knowing my luck it would come after I left or work closed. Next day delivery really should be free :cool:
