Got stung by Argos as well...was feeling pretty pleased given that the JL website kept crashing. I have just spoken to Argos on the phone however and was told deliveries will take place this Monday, the 6th. Ok, that's not as quick as tomorrow, but not that bad at all. Still got an order with Apple, just in case.

Try using the link they sent via text on your phone rather than the email on your PC - the map shows for me on mobile but not on my PC.

Argos have done a CPW on us and told us the phone isn't arriving until 8th... same as others here....

And then...... the weirdest thing has just happened....

I was clearing up my browser tabs from this morning to actually get some work done, and my John Lewis tab was still there with an iPhone X 256Gb Space Grey in the basket after the website spazzing out....I clicked checkout and it's gone through (at 14:48). I've had the confirmation email and it's being dispatched for pickup after 2pm tomorrow....or is it?

We shall see.

After cancelling my Argos order I had literally just been on JL website with the items still showing Out of Stock and had pointlessly filled out the 'Email me when back in' field, then shut the page down. A few minutes later I saw your post and was able to go straight back on and place an order for delivery tomorrow. Thank you, Sir!

Got my new X, went to restore from a back up via iTunes but am getting the message

Itunes could not restore iphone XXXX because the back up was corrupt or not compatible with the iphone that is being restored.

My old 7 plus was running 11.0.3 and my X is running 11.0.1

It's driving me mad as I really want to get my new phone up and running but can't seem to do so, any help gratefully recieved.

Nope...I was ringing about a Silver 256gb. Tbh it feels like there's a good chance that it won't be Monday 6th, they could've just said that to get me off the phone! Everything's a bit confused. My order on the Argos website still says it's out for delivery tomorrow, which could be true still? Argos could just be a big company with too many little parts not talking to each other.

I'll keep an eye on my order and update if anything changes.

Got stung by Argos also, knew it was too good to be true, now have to wait 5 working days for the refund as they managed to take the money instantly. Not happy at all as this will no doubt affect my 13th -20th order as have no more funds

Go through and set the X up as a new phone, just enter your details. Then update the phone and then you should be able to restore from the backup.
