I doubt we will see anything this week. I have not seen anyone say they have a pre order delivery for this week. The bulk of people start from the 13th. Could be a case were no stock is going into the country this week.
I have “confirmation” from John Lewis systems (JLS) that 767 units from memory are being delivered on the 10th.
Sorry to be a pain but didn’t you have information from inside Apple yesterday that a big delivery was coming for Tuesday. CS will tell you anything to get you off the phone.
Perhaps I trust people too easily, I hope I’m right to do so and would consider mass availability tomorrow possibly from the same delivery to my nearest store. Will try the same questions again for comparison!
As for JLS, again - friendly rep so hopeful the news I want is the truth we get.

No, but there is a handy notification tool called iStock linked to in this thread - and you can set up stock notifications on JL website (active for > either 50 or 100 units I believe) it could be any time, or even phased in as done on launch day.

The scalpers have a decent business plan, buy masses if a product available in limited quantities, but with unlimited demand, sell for a premium of your choice. Doesn’t make them any less of a **** though.

Apple has no problems with our service, they like it actually
I’ve had this with JL before and a dishwasher. They showed one in stock but it was the display. Their system used to, not sure if it still does, could display models as stock.
It seems like forever since I pre-ordered. 13-20th may as well be March. 6am is just an early morning letdown.
