I think they could offer an alternative, the Apple Watch indicator for instance displays both so in that space they could offer something like this little doodle I just made:
That, and re ordering the icons in that corner so the signal strength is in the right corner like so
It's a bit rough around the edges but that would work in the notch!

Yeah it’s a shame it’s gone, I find it very useful. You can always add the Battery widget, and just swipe right to check it and your Apple Watch battery?

Pretty sure DPD don’t do Saturdays, but I’m not sure about UKMail

Just checked their site and apparently they do deliver on Saturday - apologies I could have sworn I read that they didn’t!
I think it depends if the sender has paid for the Saturday option. Some retailers allow you to pay the extra to get it delivered on Saturdays. I think through the DPD app, if the retailer hasn't paid for the Saturday option you should be able to 'upgrade' the delivery yourself and pay for Saturday delivery. But again, a lot of this is retailer dependent so don't quote me on this.
Thanks for the heads up, as soon as the tracking data appears I’ll contact whichever courier I get and feedback here what I find out!!
