I had imagined iUP collections would start coming through around this time... none so far.

Watch this space - maybe my predictions are all bollocks!
 
FFS .....but the time my credit card company sent me a text confirmation code for purchase it was out of stock.....absolutely **** rite off
 
Tell you one thing for free.....if Apple Belfast don’t have any of these 256, preferably Sliver, I won’t be held responsible for my actions upon anyone that even looks at me sidewards. At my absolute limit now!!

I’d love to see iStockNow or someone who tracks things like this produce a chart showing distribution this year.

London has today had 20x more units per store than Newcastle and Belfast combined total stock since day one.

I have a friend in one of these stores who confirmed they have received 0 units.

I just don’t understand why some areas have been so heavily penalised.

Wow was not expecting that from JL. There seems to be quite a bit of stock as there's still some available even now, these cant be returns surely? Must be a new batch I presume? When I spoke to someone at JL on Monday he said they were expecting stock on the 17th so it must've come early.

StockInformer is brilliant.

I'm not going to cancel Apple order until tomorrow just in case...

Istocknow shows they have had units within last 7 days ?

As for making comparison with London .....I feel your pain but Its not really surprising, flagship stores and probably 100's more times the footfall than smaller stores.
 
Apple order cancelled. Putting all my eggs into the JL basket. Looking in accessories now. I feel that the JL care plan was better than AppleCare and better value

I managed to get a Silver 256gb for my son from Regent street having ordered as late as 6:10am .... collected at 10:30am .... very pleased :) ...... there seemed to be a lot available around London this morning !
 
I just released a 256 Silver back into the JL stocks - I thought I was ordering the SG and I have my heart set on a SG and got the guilts knowing I was going to pick it up use it and then return it when my Apple order arrives.

Hope one of you gets it when it pops up again

We keep a log, we don't have the units count and you'd also have to cross this with population in those areas + we still don't know what is the walk in stock status.
But it's very clear in France / Spain / Italy that mostly big cities get some stock. (Paris, Milan, Turin, Madrid, Barcelona).
Most smaller cities in these countries have yet to have a single iPhone avail for pickup.
