This is a nightmare, every time I choose to complete my payment using PayPal it shows me my options and then logs in to my actual PayPal account rather than returning to the Apple store!!!!

Hope I am not going to regret getting the 64GB model, I did the same thing with my iPhone 6 & then spent the year trying to manage the storage on my phone.

Check what you are already using.
I had a 256 7+ with 128gb used.
Have a 64gb X and still have 20gb available and did no clearing down.

I swear most people just buy the higher models just so they can say they have it lol.

Most people won't even need half the size their phone comes with. Ofcourse there are some people who need it though

I suspect there's probably more than an element of truth in that.

This is why storage is important:
OP broke down their usage. With no changes OP only has 19gb free. As I stated App size growth will eat into that 19GB pretty significantly

If OP wants to maintain the same profile of apps and images and factoring in app size growth that 19 GB will probably dwindle to 15 or less by the mid point of next year. Just an off the cuff estimate. That is without adding NEW and apps or images. I added in the fact that movies will also consume more space IF they plan to use that feature. OP may or may not even care about that but I decided it was only helpful to include that metric to properly answer OPs queries.

Considering OP had dedicate 14 GB to images alone one might deduce OP is unlikely to use a cloud solution for video storage. And perhaps likes having video and images remain on the phone. We don't know that for sure but it's also a consideration.

The only FUD here is your instance that i'm referring to a clean 64gb environment. I never said 64 Gb wouldn't be enough. I was suggesting that 19 GB may not be enough because that's all that OP has remaining unless changes are made.

Just so OP knows the numbers, 1 min of 4k 60 FPS video on the iPhone 8/X will consume about 400 MB of space. Basically your 19GB would be consumed with about 45 min of recordings. unless obviously you decide to transfer them to your PC or upload them somewhere.

Oops, that's going to be your answer then isn't it, unless you've changed your ways since iPhone 6 days.

I appreciate that another £150 is painful on top of an already exorbitant base price of £999 but you do get FOUR times the storage.

CPW online offering £350, not bad considering there's no hassle. Might pop into store as someone else commented they got £400 for the same phone. All the other sites seem to be offering £330 or less. Gumtree sales seem to be around £400/£450 but I'm not sure if I want to be scammed by someone and there's the opportunity for a lot to go wrong.

I'd prefer to sell to someone I know as it was only replaced around a month ago and in great condition, but no-one I know seems to be looking for a new phone!

If it were me I’d probably just sell it to CPW.

GumTree/Shpock should be relatively safe if you state cash on collection only. But with potentially only a £50 difference it’s a lot of hassle. And if it hangs around it might depreciate that much before you sell.

I’ve been clearing apps off my current phone and already reduced my storage by 11GB, but it’s still over the 64GB limit so I’ll have to look for further savings. The biggest use of my storage is music by far.

what model is it?
I'm trying to sell my 128gig 7 plus in jet black, that's been in a case since day one so the jet black is still perfect
I keep getting offered around 400 for it
I thought it was worth closer to 500
