A certain term [WN] from the Elvis Costello song, Oliver’s Army, now springs to mind.
Very disappointing.
On that JL still says ‘processing’.......but money has been taken. The DPD tracking app says enroute to Portadown depot but last time parcel was seen was at mainland x ray scan mmmmm

Don’t use the JL app ti track but if you use the website and the tracking link in the email they sent it will show it as dispatched and the time too
Similar to my CPW launch order I never received an email or tracking number. Only see it on DPD app as it must be linked to my address/phone number. Maybe something to do with living in NI
My Argos 256GB SG ordered for next day delivery last sunday (after the first order with them never arrived) is on a courier tfor delivery today. What a right royal mess it's been, but I know the frustration will immediately subside once I have it in my hands.
It is mate, im in Belfast and I have downloaded the dpd.ie parcel wizard app, if you get it and sign gun you will get a van tracking link when its out for dispatch. It because NI DPD is run by DPD.ie not the DPD UK
My JL order hasn’t updated tracking wise since very early on the 17/11. Not sure if that’s worrying or not!
It was pure luck on the JL site. People think I have lost it but - sitting with multiple screens showing Apple and John Lewis hitting refresh like a mad man in between downing actual work
Got mine from JL yesterday.
Saleswoman was waving it at colleague as I paid. Apparently she caught him about to sell it earlier
Only two areas I find face id better then touchid:
1) Hides notifications content until it sees me.
2) Can just look at phone and say Siri <app name> without touching the phone. Would be great if they now added <Siri Lock phone>
I’m already missing ability to add other people to Touchid. Mrs has asked me to unlock it several times because she can’t be bothered to memorise my pin :/ Hope they allow you to add another face, but suspect they won’t.
Apps need some work, even first party ones, to fully utilise screen. Reading forums or long web pages is better. But lots of wasted space when you type for example.
Currently 55GB full :/ wish I could get a £75 refund for 128GB

How much storage do the system files take up?

That’s interesting to hear. I haven’t heard anything from them yet.
I have now ready for collection.
Under settings Capcity shows as 256GB and system category (when you scroll to bottom) says 8.13GB. I did an ITunes backup -> restore so can’t remember what my 7 said. But from memory it was also around 55GB full.

I started a new phone off from the beginning (very rarely restore as everything is in the cloud and reach-able) and I’m on 10gb used with tones of apps installed, not sure what these people are doing to use so much space.
My 64GB SB from JL was at my local Waitrose and available for collection at 9.15am this morning.

Thank you. I am probably going to have prune my music by only using purchased music rather than the whole music collection (stuff imported from CDs) as I am already close to deleted as much as I can app wise, something like 12-13GB.
