Other UK iPhone (2017) X(Ten)/8/8+ Pre-Orders and Dispatch Thread

Went online at 6am this morning. Managed to nab one for collection later today from Apple Birmingham. Anyone know if the extended holiday return period applies in the UK? On the Apple site it says purchases after 15 November have a return window until Jan 8th 2018 - but that page seems to come from the Apple US site, even though the link is on the UK site.

Items purchased at the Apple Online Store that are received between November 15, 2017 and December 25, 2017, may be returned through January 8, 2018. Please note that all other terms and conditions provided in the Apple Online Store Sales and Refunds Policy are still applicable with respect to such items purchased. All purchases made after December 25, 2017 are subject to the Standard Return Policy.

Got one via IUP last week (Thursday) from Apple Regent Street and this is my return date on my receipt...

Changed from Preparing for dispatch to - shipped - due tomorrow. Any of you on 27-1st if you haven't had movement yet I'd expect something in the next day or so in terms of movement seems like a large shipment is happening if they're fulfilling both 24th and 27th orders!

My SG is in the 28th-5th window too. My wife's silver which was in the 24th-1st has just shipped, so I'm hoping the SG gets a bump sooner.

I have 28th-5th but I don't see movement. It's still "order in process", I hope they will ship soon.

Anyone actually received their iPhone x from Argos?
I ordered on 3rd Nov for delivery 4th Nov, cancelled when informed no stock.
Ordered again on 7th for delivery 8th, waited in all day, once again informed no stock cancelled again.
Received refund on both occasions.
Today received email "Good news! Your pre-order for Apple iPhone x has now been despatched for delivery on Saturday 18th December.Yodel are delivering for us and will send a message when once it's on their van. Thanks."
Do this company have any clue as to what they doing.Last Tim I checked 18 Dec was a Monday!!!

Okay the Argos saga continues, received iPhone this afternoon. God knows which order this is from,who knows maybe I will get another one in a couple of days.

Picked up my iPhone X this morning and I'm finding iOS an absolute mess after Android Oreo. The hardware is excellent, just not sure if I can cope with iOS! And before anyone says anything, I have had all the iPhones up to and including the iPhone 6.

Thanks. The wait time has now gone down to 1-2 weeks for both the 64GB and 256GB models. I don’t think it will be long before they are available for walk ins.

So much for those rumours of no stock until next year! Having to wait 1-2 weeks when ordering at the end of November is way beyond what most were expecting.

Production must be running at max output or they’ve overestimated sales
