I ordered from Carphone and Vodafone just in case. I returned my Vodafone order in store on 4th November and still no refund and the line is still on my account
Rang them 4 times now and they don’t even seem to have a record of it being delivered - never mind returned!
Such a pain. Was only £150 upfront but still incredibly frustrating

It’s sometimes a comical farce ordering any phone from a telecoms company. DPD tried to deliver my phone to a shop in the city of London on Saturday. As it was in the city it’s closed on the weekends. I promptly changed the date to Monday however the driver still turned up to a closed EE store. This cascade of miscommunication between EE & DPD resulted in my phone being returned to EE and my order being cancelled. Even the DPD advisor told me that DPD are rubbish. Personally I think they are both. I may even just wait until next year and save my good money.
I am just now getting a refund for a returned phone and two months’ charges in 2015...not that I’m complaining. That refund is funding my new iPhone X so every cloud...
It's finally my delivery day, I had to delay it from yesterday because I couldn't get off work. DPD usually delivers to me early, but today I got a delivery time of 6-7pm. Now I'm working from home for no reason.
To make things worse, I checked the app and the driver was less than 5 minutes away from me on deliveries, I called to see if there was anything they could do to get to me sooner, as I'm so nearby but he was on delivery 5 and I'm 126. They said there was no way of changing it.
I've been checking the app periodically and the van is just darting around the roads right next to me. I later saw he was actually on my road. I went out and spoke to him and he said he can't help. The parcel will be at the back of the van and he wouldn't be allowed to scan it out anyway, so he'll see me in 6 or 7 hours.
I've since seen him drive past twice.
This is torture.

Got mine today from DPD, very surprised since I only ordered last week

I feel for you, that is rather annoying! I'd be the same. Although it is a little funny as well. At least you will get it today
Can anyone advise if I were to buy an iPhone X in the USA GSM SIM FREE , would this work fine in the uk ? and also would I have the same warranty as if bought in the UK ? If I had any issues could I just take it to my local apple store as normal ?
I am travelling in the new year and thinking of trying to get one while over there.

Ordered online on the 19th Nov, a Virgin Mobile 3yr contract iPhone X 256gb Silver, Estimated delivery 2nd December.
The problem with Virgin Mobile (UK) is that you can’t track your delivery and have to wait for the email from the carrier saying when it will be delivered, I’m hoping for that email tomorrow.

DPD have been quite bad.. delivered my folio case and apple watch strap but not the watch! excuse.. its busy.

Wow there’s sock right across the UK for normal reservation. When you select X on the Apple Store, it shows unavailable but proceed and it shows stock all 95% of stores for collection today.
My god DPD are a nightmare after black Friday ordered a iPhone x 64gb space grey on the 15th Nov delivery was due on the 30th Nov parcel is now under investigation probably stolen or lost.
Apple watch series 3 ordered online John Lewis due for delivery 29th via DPD tracking saying your Parcel hold at your local depot guessing they have lost it.
