Thought I would try the Apple Business unit approach this year.

I have received the email detailing the dispatch dates this afternoon. :-(

XS max 512 Gold has delivery date 24th Sept to 1st Oct

Apple watch, delivery 15th to 22nd Oct.

I could have ordered both for delivery on Friday, I was in the store ,via the app, really early for a change. I’m away back at work on the 10th for 4 wks. So it’s pointless having the watch sit there was 3.5 wks using up the apple care. :-(.

Not too happy.... does anybody have exprience of using the Business Unit for launch days? If so, so they normally come fwd?

Now will to have to join the queue early Friday morning for the watch and hopefully pick up a phone at the same time....

Anybody coming to either Glasgow store Friday morning?

I have Apple business account too but I didn’t use it for this very reason. I suspected they’d treat it with less urgency. Not good.

My outlaws are in Croydon and the Three signal has always been ok but if you go into London watch out! We were there for a Uni open day with daughter, walked out the station wanting google maps to guide us and got nothing! Had to reboot phone and then used the offline mode of City Mapper which I’d saved previously!!
If I lived in London I’d ditch Three at this point! Why have a £1000 phone that you can’t use???
When we were there I though it was just glitching, it’s only this past couple of days that I’m seeing there’s more to it!!
That sounds terrible glad I made the switch to EE I will be godsmacked signing upto 24 months with three with all these issues around London.

What made you decide that? I never used to have screen protector's on, or rather, could never fit them properly myself but what Apple started fitting them in store I've had them.

Probably the amazon reviews and the price. Usually go with the glass protectors rather than the plastic ones. Probably a little thicker but works well for me

My 12 month simo deal was a Black Friday special, given none of their new plans are max plans I’m going to be sticking with what I have

If you try to Upgrade there are Max Plan options along with the Essential Plans . I suspect offers vary as well, but am waiting it out till BF in Nov

Only asking cause I'm getting itchy... but does anyone know how long Envirofone take to credit a bank account? I've done it before a couple of years ago, but having just sent by 8 Plus out into the yonder by Special Delivery I guess I've sealed the deal. I appreciate they will have a look at it and either agree the price the gave or suggest something else, but assuming i'm happy to go ahead are they relatively snappy to pay up? approx how long? Thanks!

Apple Watch Stand, Spigen [Patent Pending] [Charging Dock] Aluminum Body for Apple Watch Series 3 / series 2 / Series 1 - S330 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00VSGVVNA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_pm9NBbZ9F6DDQ

I have used this since the Series 0 came out, I had a Milanese Loop for about 4 months before selling it as I did not like it.

But the stand worked well with the Milanese loop and has worked since with the Stainless Steel Link I now use

We had some cases for the Max come into work today. This is going to be... a large phone. I compared my 8+ in its Tech 21 case to it and it’s noticeably bigger. I can’t wait :D

The alignment tool makes it a perfect, straight fit every time too with no bubbles. I got a great deal on amazon for the Tozo one. It’s £7.99 for a 3 pack with 12 month warranty on each glass piece , the fitting frame and cleaning tools etc.

I thought they were the same size apart from the depth???

It could have just been the case to be fair but it definitely seemed a little taller. Couldn’t take a photo of the two side by side because my Plus is the only camera I’ve got, ha.

I wouldn’t mind if it was a fraction bigger to be honest lol. All the better for watching Netflix and prime on lol

I know I should ask before did the order, but what are your thoughts about Vodafone? Is it a good carrier?

BTW, my case from Apple Store was shipped today.

I'm with Vodafone for my main SIM. It all depends on where you live, I find it ok in London, and I get to roam free in 77 countries including the USA, so I'm happy.

My apple leather case for my Xs Max is shipped, arriving Wednesday, that's 1 item of 3... now the wait for my Xs Max and Watch 4...:D:eek:

So the roaming is also good? The roaming in my 3 card is rubbish. iPhone loses connection all the time and can't find himself on the map (localization sometimes doesn't work).
To late. And to expensive ;)

Leather Apple case has shipped. THis is all great but still gutted my order with my phone has the wrong postcode. Not holding much hope for it being delivered successfully

I'm getting excited for the Xs Max in gold the 8 Plus was beautiful so i have high expectations for the new model. Can anyone recommend a case where i can still appreciate the colour?

(posting this as i go past the Apple store in Edinburgh funnily enough )

Had no issues with Vodafone, and you get to use all your data abroad, unlike EE who limit it to 15GB.

Vodafone 50GB for £17.50 after cashback is a bargain in my opinion, with 500 minutes to the EU, global roaming plus and spotify.
