Yes this I what I thought to. Actually ordered it and then cancelled.

I think I’m going to order a full coverage one once there is more choice available. Really like the fitting guide thingy.

Haven’t had any protector on my 7 for 2 years and don’t have a single scratch - so still in two minds as of what to do!
I have the equivalent of this one my current X, no issues with it or applying it.. Also not overly noticeable when swiping up from the bottom edge

Take a look at the Spigen cases. I swear by them for full coverage cases.

4 years ago today, the iPhone 6 came out. Just seen a picture on Facebook memories of me picking up my pre-order. Still get excited on “new iPhone day” now as I did then

How is it still only Wednesday! :(

That’s it, I’m going to install iOS 12 to keep me busy
It’s a good update. Seems quicker and there are a lot of major and minor bugs that have been fixed.

So I finally did it and went for the order.
I've gone for a 256Gb XS Max, Space Grey on O2. 20Gb data a month (currently have a 25Gb a month allowance but only use around 6-8Gb a month so figured the slight downgrade in data won't be a problem).
Due to an issue with the contact number registered on my account I upgraded on the phone. The woman I spoke to said that they were still expecting to fulfil orders on the 21st. Fingers crossed...

dont do it! Save the freshness of a new OS for your XS

wanted to keep away from iOS 12 until I had the XS! ah well

I always ruin the surprise with new iOS versions.. I always go public beta.. so I never fully appreciate the speed benefits....I applaud your patience!

...weird that all the XS and XS Max cases ordered and pics posted on here are black - thats the last colour I would choose personally!!

But, yes, we are all different....!
:p

Not for me!

Why would that be the last colour you would choose :)?
I got it because I think it goes well together with the gold

I have always gone for the space grey iphone and the black case i'm so boring lol

i wish i had pictures of my previous iphone purchases was never really bothered about taking pictures until afew years ago i've owned every single iphone other than i believe the iphone 3g the original was just as good but was only 2g.

While i don't have any of the iphones now or even pictures i still have around 6 original iphone boxes with all the stuff that came with them lol

I keep offering to buy her a new one, but she likes the fact it is undesirable for thieves!

She does have the latest iPad Pro though!

Cruel!

I had that when it came out. Wow that takes me back. The days when you just needed to call and text

My mom has cheap phone from Argos for £10 or £15, can't remember. Looks like an old Nokia. She can't understand why I buy a phone for £1000!

...well if we are gonna talk about old handsets, these are just some of the ones I have owned in my lifetime:

Anyone know any stock level of the Max on Friday, possibly Saturday for pick up in Glasgow area? I think I may go for the max but pre-ordered the S.
I basically have the choice between Xs 256Gb or XSMax 64GB.

Just had my text from O2 to say my phone has arrived in store and ready to collect Friday. Class.

No sign of mine yet. Ordered mine at 9am last Friday for pickup this Friday, I’m doing the actual upgrade in store because I’m getting staff discount. Nervous now!

All brilliant phones. The Nokia 3650 was good. Once you mastered the T9 typing on the circular keyboard, you were like a pro.

Not upgrading my phone this year, but I miss the buzz of checking the UK despatch thread, so thought I would drop by to see what is happening this year. Anyway, talking from last years experience for me, it is definitely worth not giving up hope on John Lewis on Friday, if you find that they ‘sell out’ in the first few minutes, as last year, I was disappointed not to secure a phone at 8a.m, but kept checking the John Lewis site throughout the day & then randomly, late afternoon, they randomly had ‘1 in stock’ of the model of X which I wanted...added to basked, placed the order & collected in store next day
