Plus the weight/bulk of any case you might add.

I’m going to see them in store on Friday when I got to collect mine. I doubt I’ll change my mind and will stick with the XS but if.. if I do, I’ll see if there’s any sneaky stock I can pick up

Exactly! The nearest apple shop is an hour away from me, so I'll give it a few days and then see. I'm a runner so I want to try running with it in my flip belt and see if it drags it down, if so then I'll change to the xs. As long as I return it as new I'll be able to exchange won't I?

Has anyone seen any video reviews where they have the Space Grey XS/XS Max? I can’t find any, only silver and gold so far. I wanted to see some better videos of the Space Grey in action

Still on order being processed at the supplier. Still has Saturday as expected delivery date but has changed to delivery date checked on 18th.
Where does it show expected delivery date 18th. Mine has estimated delivery 22 for Saturday. And its says processed for status.

Love seeing all the familiar names pop up around this time every year.

I'm always on these forums, but 10x more active during September/October ;)

Bit of a random question but there’s been some talk about cases on here, I was wondering if anyone has some pictures of how the Leather Midnight Blue Case ages over time? :)

I usually go with black but decided to shake it up this year. Not the biggest fan of a patina/aged look you get with lighter shades like brown and red etc.

Midnight blue goes dark after 12 (excuse the terrible pun)

It appears that the best deal i can get out of EE as an upgrade is a 64gb XS with 100GB data/unlimited calls /txts on the MAX plan for 58 a month with 70 upfront ,anybody got a better deal than this with EE ?

Yes, I got offered:

iPhone XS Max 256GB 100GB MAX No upfront £70pm

or iPhone XS Max 512GB 100GB MAX no upfront £78pm

They also let me upgrade early and pretty much waved the £500 early upgrade fee.

I went with the £70pm option.

Still in progress on mine, it changed the night before it came after ordering my 7 Plus from what I remember in 2016. Hopefully should see movement tomorrow at some point

I got ‘retention 100gb, 200 upfront, 63pm. No where near as good a deal. For an xs 256. Was a bit disappointed as I save 20% through work anyway so retention was only slightly better by 50£ or so. On the 7 plus I actually cancelled my order ended up getting the plus 256 free next day and 55pcm.

I might have to give them a call and say I’m not happy.

If you can get the Perk code from your employers website - they'll then add 20% discount to your tariff.

Still preparing for dispatch here (Apple store order).
Money taken (Apple Pay) and still says delivery on 21st.

Have tried all the UPS tracking tips, like order number and phone number, nothing.

OK, I've updated the first post FAQs (not that anyone reads them )

Apple has taken funds buy my order still shows 'preparing for dispatch'?
Pre-orders which are due for launch day delivery will usually see a change of order status to 'dispatched' the day before delivery. Launch day stock is typically sitting at Apple's logistics partner, Syncreon, in Hinkley. The devices are handed over to a local courier (DPD or UKMail) from around the afternoon onwards on the day before. From this point your tracking would become active.
I saw my first ever Syncreon truck at the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border 3 hours ago. iPhones are coming!

Always good to set the gang back together! :D

Where are @sparkie1984 & @WRXiceman !?

Heeeyyyyyy!!!!

Sorry been crazy with work and when I check back it’s 50 pages of “what deal can I get through EE” :)

Also a bit quieter this time as I’m going to be trying for the upgrade program so don’t know if I’ll even be accepted yet! Plus it’s potentially a small ish upgrade for me coming from the X

But I do miss the whole hype of it all I have to say! Love seeing every change in process etc....

Hopefully next year will be more hyped with a bigger upgrade
