I *accidentally* bought a 44mm S4 watch yesterday. Worried it’s too big, but the 38mm has always felt too small. Does the 14 day refund policy apply on watches even though the straps could show wear at that point? Really don’t want to take the p*ss but really not sure and the 40mm is unavailable everywhere.
You can return it without difficulty. Apple’s return policy is excellent.

Mine went to dispatched late Friday and has been at the Glasgow UK Mail hub since early Sat morning. Expected to be delivered tomorrow sometime

That’s very weird. Mine changed to preparing for dispatch at about 8PM Friday and it has been stuck there ever since. I am still displaying a 24 - 1 date as well.

Will be looking for another max later this year. Any idea what EE tend to do in Black Friday? For new deals?

Yup 14 days return works too.

Need to see how I feel about the gold SS in normal day light. May have to fall back to space black otherwise

Those who have their XS/XS Max handsets, can I ask you to check something.

I know of people having major issues with GPS last year on the X when Apple exchanged phones no questions asked.

Thus yesterday I was testing my XS GPS and it would not lock indoors about 4 meters away from the windows/external walls on LTE mode (on WiFi it is fine as its assisted). The lock happens to the nearest mast I believe.

For comparison, my Galaxy S9 had no issues nor did the wife’s iPhone 8 Plus from same location indoors. However getting closer to windows/walls etc gained a lock.

Just seems the GPS chips is weaker this year than previous years or have I got a dud? I really don’t fancy an exchange as the handset is pretty flawless.

Any advice?

My GPS in both Apple Maps and Google Maps are fine on my XS Max.

Nice one... Mine (24-1) is still on preparing.... but I also know that could change anytime to dispatch and probably be here the day after.
I would imagine that it should go dispatched later today with a delivery for tomorrow. Normally the PFD is an indication that the phone is here and ready to be sent out. (Apart from launch dates as sometimes the stock come direct from China)

Yeah seems to be down at the moment.
Store always goes down every Sunday morning for maintenance.

Concur.
I’ve had orders be quiet for ages then next you know in just over 24hrs it’s shipped and being delivered that day.
So, no concerns or queries from me this end. :)

For peace of mind can someone confirm to me that John Lewis devices are completely unlocked and won’t lock to a sim

With the bubbles live wallpaper, you don’t actually need to hold the screen. If it’s set as a lock screen wallpaper, if you just tilt the phone, the bubbles will move in relation to the angle you are tilting the phone.

....my emails aren’t from Barclays, they’re from Apple which shows the outstanding amount of the IUP and that the 8+ has now cleared off that amount. That’s good enough for me!

I just received my email from Barclays this time around, stating that previous IUP loan has now been settled and welcoming me to my new loan for my new iPhone XS, for 20 payments of £56.45.

:)

I ended up going with the Space Grey as when I looked at the silver colour, I didn’t really like the white coloured back. The space grey is a little different than the space grey iPhone 8 Plus in that space grey on the XS has like a mirror finish around the bezel area (the 8 Plus was a matte colour).

My only pain with the IUP is that it’s a fresh credit agreement every year, and I don’t want to have this very new agreement close to mortgage time

Likewise, though I have 24-26 delivery dates

Order is now not available to view, I am guessing this is progress from PFD; 24th-1st

I have my other delivery scheduled for 24-26th; I assume it should arrive on the 24th and the 26th is if there are any delays? Order status is down for me, and was PFD since Friday

Who knows we might be pleasantly surprised tomorrow or Tuesday :)

I had not noticed that. Just compared them and yes , the Xs is shiny compared to the 8. You live and learn.
