I know it’s the opposite of last year where we had to wait for the x. This time the Xs came out first.
I just have a feeling my bank will do that thing where they decline the transaction due to the amount and I end up missing out on launch window because of it.

You usually get a bit of time to sort out the payment before you get booted to the back of the queue. Happened to me with the 7 plus pre order, my bank put a hold on the transaction and then I had to verify the payment. After that it was approved and I still got my phone on launch day.
If they decline your payment, it shouldn’t effect your order delivery window. Happened on my XS max order, but I still got it on launch day.
Done! Red 128Gb reserved. Did I win.
