This may have been answered before but regarding the IUP, if i manage to reserve an XS Max 64GB tomorrow morning, to be collected next week and choose IUP do i have to part with any money or go through a credit check at the time i place a pre-order or does this all take place when i go to collect the phone?

I pretty sure it’s when you collect the phone. It was when I got my 7 plus a couple of years ago.

You get mugged off with prices with any carrier here you get charged like no tomorrow + RPI price increase next year on top.

They still have it take out a EE 24 month iPhone XS MAX/iPhone XS/iPhone XR you will have max plan speed.
I agree on the carriers
Looking at it 0% with Apple 1249 - 69 = 59 a month if I am looking at it right
Can get 20% off EE through work so 16 a month for a sim only deal

That’s 20 months instead of a 24 month contract to

My iUP eligibility page has now updated from a payment being needed to being eligible after making my final payment a couple of days ago!

@Jinjin
I made my last payment yesterday evening , still shows outstanding payment. Guess it shouldn’t cause any problems with preorder tomorrow morning? :(

Still think the Apple way be cheaper than getting a 24 month contract with 20% off the line rental if it’s true gonna be 100 + per month
With Apple it's only 20 months payment+(Applecare I think) well cheaper than any 24 months carriers they charge a premium.
Or you can put it on a credit card with zero % interest.
your choice.

Nah as you’ve still got a week before picking up the phone at the earliest. Records will update by then

Sorry if it's been answered before. If I buy using the Apple Store app, and select Apple Pay in the app, which credit card will it use? The Primary one the app has, the default in my wallet, or something else?

Apple Care is only need thou ain’t it on the yearly upgrades

IUP includes AppleCare+ and splits the cost over 20 months. You’re then allowed to upgrade after 11 payments

iPhone payments just splits the cost of the phone over 20 months. No option to upgrade or hand back ( but you could easily sell your phone, pay off the loan and do it all again)

Not bad. The 30GB deal is £17 for a new customer, but I need Unlimited, which is £30 on a 12 month contract. I pay £17 on a 30-day rolling for unlimited data so dont think it is that bad value...

EDIT
In fact I just checked, I pay £17 for it, my wifes is £20...

So iPhone payments is gonna be the cheapest way, not fussed on AppleCare I have it covered through my bank and house insurance
