Just signed up for iPhone Xs 256Gb Space Grey with Three for £69, and that upgrades my plan to unlimited data, calls, texts etc, plus handy for when i'm in Ireland as can use my allowance for no extra charge. £1656 in total over 2 years, that means it's £507 or £21.13/month once phone cost is taken out.

....2 year contract?! I could never go back to that, ever again!!! SIM only deals are the way to go - so much more flexibility.

still having max dilemmas! Going to check out the Max in store next friday when pick up the xs and see if I can be convinced on a change.

Got £5 off my deal

XS max 256GB space grey

Upgrade anytime contract
100GB data, unlimited mins and texts
£93 a month

Only £6 a month more than my X

I can blame Apple for releasing a real dual SIM phone then limiting it to 2 countries. It would have been far better for customers to just release those phones worldwide. ESIM is a step backwards towards giving carriers more power and customers fewer options.

I might be wrong, but I think once all carriers get on board esim, then it should actually be good for costumers and drive prices down, as changing carriers will become that much easier...
Just my 0.02

ordered through Apple app on iPhone
Saved my shipping address last night.
Checked this morning pre 8am. All ok. Locked and loaded with details.
ordered the phone 8.06am
App asks me to manually input my address.
I throw my phone in a glass of beer.
I shouldn't be drinking at 8.06am.

I've just been SIM only for last 2 years as i just bought my current iPhone from Apple. I don't know what flexibility i had or would have needed though?

There is no way I'm ever sign up to any carrier for two year prices + RPI price increase each year go Apple iUP or save up for it sim free.

I suspect , in a couple of years time, eSIMs are the only type of SIMs we will have.

Was looking at the EE sim deals but if I use my employee discount don’t think you can get the Apple Music addon etc

I have’nt tried that actually , would check that out; hoping it’s something tangible. Compared to the mere £22 off the XS Max....hilarious, in the grand scheme of things! I did’nt even bother to log into work earlier to go through the Corporate discount rigmarole

Managed to get the XS Max 256GB Space Grey, got the confirmation email at 8:04am so I managed to do it quicker this year, had a mare last year. Looking at cases now.

So restore from backup or start from a clean slate? Now all the health data etc is backup up to cloud I’m tempted to start afresh again this year.

Also not bothered with the iOS 12 beta this year, think I’m going to save the update for the Xs!

Are EE not doing the eSIM from launch? I want to move my business account to them and put my personal o2 in the phone as well but cannot see where to buy an eSIM only on EE website.

Since they started the Apple Music deal hence not once ; you should get notifications about their offers & promotions
Not sure what you mean by that. When I first joined EE I got 6 months free Apple Music. Now, in my addons section, it says I’ve already used that offer.

Are you saying you’re getting 6 months free AM every 12 months?
