Your actually getting it early.
Congratulations.
Yeah thought would chance it by ringing up and asking if I can upgrade early and they basically started the new upgrade anytime plan.

Had to pay £100 upfront cost but least get it on or near launch day.

For those of you that have upgraded with EE - what does it state when you check the upgrade eligibility in my EE?

I have a confirmation e-mail, the £80 is appearing as a bill credit, and when I track my order using the ‘Track My Order’, it states ‘Your Pre-Order is confirmed’.

But both the my EE app and website keep stating I am ready for upgrade, and appears to let me complete a new order?
Yeah think that’s normal

Got the same as you

Confirmation email
Payment taken
Order says processed on my EE

They might bring the price down but offer less like data limit and allowance data is a money spin for all networks these days.
Who on earth make phone calls or text anymore all done with whatapp and others.

Yes speed the catch lol and customer service if you can handle them.
Most people make calls, most businesses use phones (landline or mobile) and lots of people too. Personally I won’t let WhatsApp anywhere near my phone as it’s so unsecure. If people who need to contact me (or viceversa) don’t use iDevices, it’s SMS, phone call or email, end of story.

Hi all

For the first time in 6 or so years I’m sticking with my X from last year. After getting used to the handset I’m not gonna be upgrading to the Max as it’s just gonna be too bulky.

I can not justify the money for an incremental upgrade to the camera and battery life.

Judging by their online stock either the demand is not there or they’ve got large availability of the handsets.

All the best to the peeps who will be getting their phones next Friday :)

...yea same here! I'm really toying with ordering a 44mm and getting it on Finance, which is how I bought my Series 0. Looks like delivery dates have slipped to 15 Oct - 22 Oct

:eek: ....you're a braver man than me - have never gone protector less or case less for that matter, even WITH Applecare!

also toying with the finance idea too, had series 0 for 3 years now. The apple watch I don't really feel is necessary to upgrade every year with.

Reserved my Max, 29th September, 2 week wait!

First time posting in this forum and first time reserving an iPhone for launch day. My iPad app store opened first at 8:05, but wouldn’t allow me to pay by PayPal Credit so swaped over to website on MBP at 8:10 which opened 30 secs later. A few problems ensued like wrong password, kept deleting my mobile number and my name on billing address by which time I was having kittens. lol The website also doubled my order to 2 iPhones and refused any store pickups in Scotland, but allowed PayPal Credit. Everything was successfully completed by 8:17 and I have ordered the new iPhone Xs Max 256gb space grey upgrading from a 6 plus 128gb for home delivery next Friday!
I also used the website this first time because the app doesn’t allow PayPal credit. Did you get the 0% for four months deal? I mean mine was already pre approved credit so it was sat waiting in my account

Apple - 8:06 - Preparing for dispatch - both phone and watch. Taken the money too.

So much easier than last year with the X. That was completely sold out in minutes....

I thought if you didn’t pick it up on the said day it went back on sale? Don’t think they hold them for you?

According to the email I received...

Your new iPhone will be delivered to Apple Bentall Centre.
It’s scheduled to arrive by 29 Sep. We’ll notify you when it’s here and ask you to choose a date and time to pick it up.

Just got off the phone from EE as I still haven’t received email confirmation and others are saying their upgrades are confirmed. Was told a phone has been allocated to me, is on track for launch day arrival, and that due to demand, there is a backlog of emails and confirmation communications going out.

...think I'm gonna wait until next Friday when I collect my XS so I can have a 'hands on' play, in store, with the new watches. Then, I can just purchase one in store (I'm guessing they will have some stock in house) and choose the financing financing option (PayPal Credit -which I already have in place) there and then.

Whilst I reserved a silver 256GB XS and a silver 256GB XS Max, I'm pretty sure I'm going to decline the XS at the Birmingham store if anybody's desperate for a launch day unit?

Selling my 8 Plus 256GB for £539 to Musicmagpie and settled the £463 on my iPhone Upgrade Programme account with Barclays. Completely forgot that I would be due a refund for the balance of the unused AppleCare, which comes to £76!

£152 back to me in total vs the £0 I'd get from upgrading with the Upgrade Programme. Will either go towards a new case or a new AppleCare plan.

Mines getting dispatch as we speak iPhone XS 64GB SPACE GREY

Update after battling with EE customer relations team they agree to renew my contract sim to 40gb £14 12 months unlimited minutes and text sim only plan great price took me 1 hours of haggling nonstop back and forward.

They kept on saying sir people are paying £25 on OFFER with 40gb I said listen I don't care what other people are paying me being a loyal customer 3 year plus do me a great offer they refused I asked for customer relations and the manager.

At the end they had enough and said sir this one time special offer 40gb £14. I'm like wow thanks
