Other UK iPhone (2018) XS/XS Max/XR Pre-Orders and Dispatch Thread

Hi all

For the first time in 6 or so years I’m sticking with my X from last year. After getting used to the handset I’m not gonna be upgrading to the Max as it’s just gonna be too bulky.

I can not justify the money for an incremental upgrade to the camera and battery life.

Judging by their online stock either the demand is not there or they’ve got large availability of the handsets.

Had a look this morning at 9am and every website loaded fine; lots of retailers still estimating a delivery date of 21/09.

Update after battling with EE customer relations team they agree to renew my contract sim to 40gb £14 12 months unlimited minutes and text sim only plan great price took me 1 hours of haggling nonstop back and forward.

They kept on saying sir people are paying £25 on OFFER with 40gb I said listen I don't care what other people are paying me being a loyal customer 3 year plus do me a great offer they refused I asked for customer relations and the manager.

At the end they had enough and said sir this one time special offer 40gb £14. I'm like wow thanks

Is anyone having colour regrets?? I went with Space Grey but now I’m like “the gold is so nice!”

I went space grey because I always use a case so what difference does it make, but this year I’m getting it on iUP so might rock it naked (with a screen protector though... I’m not that crazy!)

You cant just take £300 off the total as if you haven't spent it. You once paid for it and its worth £300 in your pocket so the total spend is £1167. Not £867.

If i remember correctly, there is a way to tracker flights that has our devices when they're shipped from china... here https://www.flightradar24.com/49.42,20.04/6 , but how people figure out which flight it is in, no idea.

I think it's 24 hours, had an issue last year with payment for my wife's X.

They emailed me so I sorted an alternative payment method out over the phone.

Yes! My 256g Space Grey Max has gone to Preparing for Dispatch ordered 8:10 for home delivery, been in a meeting for two hours so not sure when that happened. Watch and Case still being processed (all separate orders).
