Finally phoned them, wasn't a money issue, rather an Apple Pay one! Phew!

Had the same problem last year, paid via apple pay with the credit card and it wouldn't go through. Did it manually, no issues. Paid this morning manually with the card and again, no issues.

Not this time, but I remember last year I encountered the same and had to show them the email instead.

Also for those who employers provide access to benefits through corporate perks, cases get close to 10% off. I was going to pick it up in store but I’ll save a few quid getting it delivered.

Wow that’s even more indecision than me!

I’m waiting to see the max in store before completely regretting not getting one
I'm on an iPhone 7+ and did think about getting the XS. But as it only saved a £100, I stuck with what I've had before.
It's a better fit for my aging eyes.
Roll on 21st. Paired my 256gb space grey with a nice apple leather case (black).

Just saw someone on twitter, say they'll be getting the XS Max with 100GB for £50 p/m.

I wish I could lol, just think how cheap the XS would be.

I believe he's a former EE employee, from a few years back, so seems he may still get discount or knows someone that works there and thus is getting a discount through them.

What cases are people going for? I've had Tech 21 cases the last few years but they look horrendous. I am very, very tempted by either the green or brown Apple leather cases because I think it'll look fab with the gold and I'm sick of ugly bulky cases, but the gap on the bottom worries me enormously.

I'm going to have my XS Max insured anyway but if I've ever dropped my 8+ on our wooden flooring at home it's been protected perfectly with the Tech 21 case, but I highly doubt I'd have the same outcome with the Apple case. Also, scratches.

I always always buy the apple leather cases. Had the Saddle Brown on my X and it ages beautifully. I wouldn't worry about the bottom as the case does stick out a little and if it dropped straight down it wouldn't touch the phone. I've already ordered a saddle brown for my new xs Max.

I so very nearly went with the green leather, but decided on the green.

Normally I just go with a Spigen one, but I was really disappointed with the last one I bought. The matte coating wore off the corners after a few days.
Been rocking a free Arri one from IBC for the last year.

Did you use a wireless charger through the leather case? Any issues?
Also did you have a screen protector? Not sure how that works on an almost bezeless phone.

Loved the saddle brown. Last had it with my 5s and the white fronted phone and brown looked great.

Opted for silicon again this year though. The gold Xs and stone case to match the similar watch

My X has been on the apple leather case for the past year and my phone is flawless. I’ll be getting one for my Xs Max.

No. None whatsoever. Works fine. I got the Belkin screen protector from Apple that they apply in store. Think it was £25 but the put it on perfectly.

Ordered through o2 just after 8am this morning and as I’m due an upgrade on my pay monthly.

Didn’t have to pay off the rest of my device plan on my 7 Plus as o2 waived the fee. XS 256GB Space Grey.

After complaining non-stop about the crazy price increases i broke down and ordered the 256B XS Max in gold.

I was adamanet I would skip this year and stick with my 8+ but rang up Sky on a punt and got offered a pretty mind blowing deal which I couldn’t really turn down.

Ordered around 8pm and my delivery is guaranteed for launch day next Friday so I guess demand can’t be that high right now.

Overall SO excited, can’t wait to have the phone in my hands

Now have to decide if I want a skin or case.....

Is anyone having colour regrets?? I went with Space Grey but now I’m like “the gold is so nice!”

I went space grey because I always use a case so what difference does it make, but this year I’m getting it on iUP so might rock it naked (with a screen protector though... I’m not that crazy!)

I’m not entirely convinced about the Gold colour - it looks far too ‘blingy’ and just screams, ‘....look at me with my gold iPhone ‘.

If you do decide to rock a case, you’ll find more colours (case wise) will go with the space grey than the gold.

I’m on a switch12 contract so I’ll be sending back my 256GB 8+ to sky (they assure price of £380 for it) then it will be £55/month for the phone and data (12GB/month that rolls over) plus a 20GB bonus for signing today plus another 10GB.

Discounts and promotional offer applied becuase I am a Sky “VIP” customer (basically been with Sky for >10 years now) which I wasn’t expecting at all and really sweetened the pot.

It’s pretty much identical to what I’m already paying for my 8+, considering I was expecting to pay >£80/month I’m really quite blown away.
