Just checked the store app and there’s no option to book an upgrade now, even for a 12 or pro. You can still check your eligibility, but can’t go any further. Hopefully something is in the works for doing it online. 🤞
As in...? It’s back up and working like it was before?Upgrade programme now live.

Yeah the Max is on the Apple Store app.Sorry. The Max was listed but doesn’t let you go through doing it. Weird

Just read the t&c’s of iUP on the website, they seem to have made it generic. Doesn’t mention “apple store” no more..? Might have never been there but it’s a good sign?
None of that is ‘click and collect’The big thing with the IUP is the 5 minute Barclays sign up using the Apple handsets.
Apart from that, they could insist the phones we hand are already wiped and sim removed (to save some time). But it's the Barclays bit that takes the time.
With respect why would they delay the launch ?I don't think they'd be keen to delay the launch for a month ?
Fingers crossed, somethings in the works.
I checked today, If iUP isn’t going to be a thing for another motnh, my phones worth £580 on a trade in. Probably will trade it in, buy it outright, and then refund and move to IUP when stores are open

What's crazy is that the Barclays thing could EASILY be done online. They do the 24 month interest free agreements online. What's the difference?Apart from that, they could insist the phones we hand are already wiped and sim removed (to save some time). But it's the Barclays bit that takes the time.
Would be great for the IUP to work remotely ........ but my guess is there are many components to consider not only the agreement part. The logistics of returning, checking the returns etc, although not dissimilar to normal returns its still a different process that needs to be put in place for hundreds or thousands of returned devices. Will be interesting to see what Apple do.The big thing with the IUP is the 5 minute Barclays sign up using the Apple handsets.

I’ve never met a hardcore Apple fan in person but pretty much everybody I know uses Apple products. The only Apple fans I come across seem to be on Mac Rumours. I do t think the iUP is as widely popular as some here would think. It’s expensive and carrier deals are still king when it comes to upgrading I think. You can get your new phone through the post too which is a bonus in current conditions. It's probably more than we think - certainly a lot of the hardcore Apple fans will use it...
Fingers crossed, somethings in the works.

What's weird is that if you do the iUP now, and select the current 12's that are for sale, and click through as if you're going to buy it, every store is shown as being open from Thursday onwards and into next week on the list. Maybe an error on Apple's part ?
But if you click on the stores in wales they show as closed ?
